itsTRUEbal - EthnoUrbanics

Born and raised as the younger sister of two brothers, I was the child who had the looser education – that’s how I started painting everywhere – on the walls, on the floor, on the pavement at my parents’ house, on the newspapers and everywhere that would make my mom and dad sigh.
At the age of 8 they got the idea and sent me to a special art program for kids.
From that point I started creating in every field that exists: sketching, painting, ceramics, sculpturing, playing musical instruments, knitting, writing, macramé.. And the list goes on and on and on. No doubt I was a creative child.
But all along I knew: I was going to be a fashion designer!
When I finished my duty service in the army (where I mostly got to speak with very interesting, unusual people who lit my imagination even more), I moved to Tel Aviv and started taking basic sewing lessons at 6B studio, a studio for art and design. I started making clothes for myself and quickly fell in love.
A year later, in 2012, I opened my brand, ItsTRUEbal.
I've decided to call my brand "itstruebal" - which means pine cone in Hebrew - my favorite form in nature that symbolizes a lot for me, both spiritually and aesthetically.

With years passing I’ve studied layout modeling and fashion illustration at Shenkar, one of the best high institutes for design in the country, well-known around the world.
Next, I turned to silk screen printing. I studied basic and advanced silk screen printing and fabric dying techniques at ShortCut studio in Tel Aviv and went on to working and even teaching at the studio.
Along the years I’ve been working with both private and commercial customers, also in the performance, dance and theater field.
These past few months I’ve been working from my studio, located in 10 Tchernichovsky street, Tel Aviv.

I make itsTRUEbal clothes comfortable and functional on one hand - and on the other hand I always aspire to combine the ethnic with the urban to create good style and timeless beauty.
