Very reasonable price for this pattern. Easy to follow and well written. The shop has a great website and blog with tons of info on Saori weaving. Quite pleasant to work with.

Weaving is a process of creating intersecting threads to form a cloth.
The beautiful process of handweaving at Curiousweaver Studio Winding ~ Threading ~ Beaming ~ Weaving ~ Creating.
Handdyeing is an integral part of my process.
Texture and tactility in weaving is inspired by my environment.
Thinking and creating what I experience is how I enjoy working at weaving.

A curious weaver...

I have been a handweaver for a long time. It is a craft and skill that has always sustained me in life at all times. Sometimes to engage with life more and other times to forget...

I specialise in Saori free style weaving and every piece is a unique cloth infused with my deep affinity to our natural environment and the people who share it.
I am continually exploring ways to interpret texture, colour gradation, patterns and tactility.

Handweaving has taught me about the ingenuity and good in humans. A most ancient and yet most contemporary craft that adapts and mutates for each cultural environment and new generation.

I weave every day, or teach others how to. I have a small studio near a beautiful beach on the Pacific ocean in Australia.
