Polymer Clay Tiled Mosaic Wooden Keepsake Box -- Original Artwork, Mosaic, One-of-a-Kind by InkyObsessions

Thu, 22 Jun 2017 21:25:33 -0400

65.00 USD

This is one of my polymer clay tile mosaic boxes. Each side of the box is embellished with metal pieces, the inside is decorated with additional polymer clay tiles. The box measures 4 x 4 and stands 5-1/4" tall with legs. This was an unfinished wood box that I sanded, added gesso, sanded again, more gesso, then painted. The tiles have been sealed with a matte sealant.

Great keepsake box for women, men, girls or boys.

90.00 USD

This listing is for a one-of-a-kind mosaic tile art piece measuring 9" x 9". I hand make all the polymer clay tiles used in all my mosaic pieces. I condition and roll out my clay, impress the clay with rubber stamps, cut the tiles into varying sizes, add paint, metallic foil and precious metal pigment powders to create original tile pieces. Some tiles have beads added to them for additional texture. Each tile is meticulously glued into place giving consideration to shape, color and orientation resulting in a pleasing design. Some metallic microbeads are added as grout where needed. Steampunk key and iridescent glass tile added to frame as embellishments.

This listing is for a one-of-a-kind wall art piece measuring 5-1/4" x 18-1/4". I make all the polymer clay tiles used in all my mosaic pieces. This long rectangular orientation makes for an interesting addition to that small area or and odd shaped wall, or mixed among a grouping of art pieces.
