For practitioners that would like to learn how to use the Annif tool on their own, there will also be a follow-up hands-on tutorial organized by the National Library of Finland together with the Leibniz Information Centre for Economics ZBW. DCMI Virtual will be a programme of virtual, invited and moderated sessions including keynotes, expert panel discussions, tutorials and presentations. We will make these as interactive as possible, with moderated question and answer sessions. DCMI Virtual will run from Monday September 14th 2020 to Friday 25th September 2020. In parallel, a revised specification for DCMI Metadata Terms has been published on the DCMI website. The first is a small ontology for profile resources. This ontology is based on the case where an application profile is made up of one or more documents or resources, such as both human-readable instructions and a SHACL validation document.
