Radon is a natural radioactive gas that can build up inside of homes and can cause lung cancer over time. A home radon test is the only way to know if radon levels are high in your home. You can contact your state radon office for testing or purchase a test kit online or from some stores. If levels are higher than recommended by EPA, contact a radon reduction contractor to make repairs to your home.
