Excellent for Most Non-Profits

製品を使ってみた感想： At a prior non-profit, I switched them from Raiser's Edge (desktop) to Bloomerang. I gained a ton of features and saved quite a bit. The conversion was painless. I've only had to contact support a few times and they have always been extremely helpful.
In my current role, I set them up with Bloomerang as their first database.
I have also recommended it on multiple occasions.

Bloomerang is intuitive and easy to use. Creating and reporting with custom field has never been easier and really allows you to customize it to your needs rather than using a standard field for something else. The ability to create embedded forms is a lifesaver. The integrated email capabilities save me from having to purchase another solution like Constant Contact. Plus, these interactions are automatically recorded in the donor/prospects data file. The integrated DonorSearch option is convenient, useful and cost-effective.

改善してほしい点:

If my organization ran a ton of events, I'm not sure this would be my optimal solution. Currently, there is only one level of access - so I can't let a Board Member in to look around because any accidental changes they make would be permanent. I know that Bloomerang is working on this though.

Bloomerang is an essential component of running our nonprofit. It helps connect the dots between the development team and our donor management strategies, and the finance team and their need for immaculate reconciliation with data, dates, amounts, and details. The bloomerang software truly tracks it all and makes it easy accessible. The ability to run reports based on different categories and connect donors to each other as well as other companies makes bloomerang an invaluable part of our development team.

改善してほしい点:

The only feature I would love to see and boomerang is the ability to batch send customized thank you letters through their email feature. As it is right now, you have to individually attach each customized letter then customize the email to send it out. Right now, this means we have to source this feature from another platform that we use for email communications. And then it means that the attached tax letter is not personalized.

Conversion - Thousands of records were messed up and had to be corrected. It took months and many man hours.Also they have me sign off before checking all out to see if okay.This was a night mere!!!

製品を使ってみた感想： Bloomerang really helped to organize our donor relationships. All of us knew who spoke to whom and the financial background of the donors. We didn't have to have the donor repeat information because everything was logged in the system. We could also put our efforts into those who had a connection to our cause and the financial means to donate more if asked.

I was a part of selecting Bloomerang for a nonprofit I worked for. It was midline for cost and midline for options. That actually met our criteria. We didn't have any experience with donor software so we wanted something intuitive and easy to use. That's Bloomerang. I really liked the donor search because we could evaluate a person's capacity to donate. That helped us to be intentional with our efforts.

改善してほしい点:

I would imagine that the options offered are not as robust as some other platforms however, we never used a donor software before and this was more than we needed. So we felt we could grow with the program.

Bloomerang is so much simpler than other fundraising software. If you are a small to mid-size nonprofit Bloomerang is the right product. We previously used other high-priced, high featured software that was more sophisticated than we need. Bloomerang is much more user friendly so even our most tech-challenged staff can input their interactions with donors, set up tasks, understand the dashboard and more.

I like Bloomerang overall, but I wish there were more features in the add-ons like MailChimp. It's great that we can send eNews through MailChimp integration but it's frustrating that it's a scaled down version of whats available to other users.
