Great tool for people who are used to Microsoft products.

Comments: Microsoft SharePoint is expensive but can be a great choice if your company/team is already using other Microsoft products, the integration is seamless.

Pros:

The integration with other Microsoft softwares such as Flow ,365 and OneDrive.

Cons:

Microsoft SharePoint is an expensive software.

A Good Option for Development Capable Administration

Comments: Sharepoint has proven itself a valuable tool for us. The majority of employees use it on a daily basis, all employees use it at least some. The framework capability has been paramount in developing our working system. It also has helped us integrate required compliance and security components.

Pros:

We use Sharepoint as a hub and warehouse to store, organize, and disperse documents and information. For our purposes, whereas we have multiple departments with varying needs and the capacity and capability to do the development necessary, it works quite well.

Cons:

In order to use Sharepoint most effectively in our organization, a fair amount of development has been necessary. We have found it necessary to train individuals within each department to development their own Sharepoint sites both to make them work best for their departments and to avoid the burden of ongoing development from falling strictly on software-specific positions that otherwise do not know the needs and processes of the departments. Although we deemed it necessary and worthy, a smaller orgranization might struggle to find the resources for this level of development.

Leveraging The Microsoft 365 Ecosystem with Microsoft SharePoint For Efficient Collaboration

Comments: Our overall experience with Microsoft SharePoint has been good mainly due to the user friendly interface and integrations we have with other Microsoft 365 applications that we use.Also we are able to easily collaborate with users who do not have a Microsoft 365 account.

Pros:

Microsoft Sharepoint has allow us to effectively collaborate with our global team and third party without exposing us to security risks or restricting our workflowWe are able to restore files deleted in error or malisciously or affected by ransomware thanks to versioning.We are able to synchronize documents across multiple devices which is very convenient for mobile team members who may need to access a document from a mobile device while in transit or not in the office or not have access to their normal work device.

Cons:

We have not yet come across any real issue with SharePoint since we have used this for so many years.I think outside of temporary technical glitches or comparison with specific features someone would be used to in another solution Microsoft SharePoint has not displayed any issue for us.

Comments: Overall, Microsoft SharePoint is a powerful tool that can greatly improve collaboration, document management, and workflow within a team or organization.

Pros:

SharePoint has greatly improved our team's collaboration and document management. It's user-friendly interface makes it easy for everyone to access and share important files. It has streamlined our workflow and made it easier for our team to stay organized. The calendar and task management features have been particularly useful

Cons:

The interface can be a bit confusing to navigate, especially for new users. More intuitive navigation would be helpful. Sometimes some colleagues are having trouble with accessing files. Although everyone has same access, some people can face hardships while opening file in the app while website version is accessible.
