A very promising project management software
Comments: We have only been trying the software, and so far, we found that Basecamp was the most intuitive and user-friendly one. We were able to use Basecamp immediately after signing up without having any difficulty, and we are now considering using the software for our everyday operations.
Pros:
You don't have to be fluent in programming languages or have any technical expertise to use Basecamp : Basecamp is easy to learn and use.Basecamp offers many integrations with third-party software solutions, including Slack, Dropbox, and MailChimp. There's also an API that allows developers to build custom integrations with their own software solutions or their clients' apps. These integrations increase productivity and reduce the manual data entry required by team members when using project management software.Basecamp integrates with other applications through IFTTT (or "If This Then That") recipes—a collection of applets you can use to connect Basecamp to other platforms such as Gmail or Facebook Messenger so it can post notifications there automatically in response to events happening inside Basecamp itself (such as assigning tasks).Basecamp combines all the tools you need for project management into one easy-to-use platform with an excellent interface. With its latest major release, Basecamp has integrated a lot of new features into its platform but also kept the core functionality that made them popular in the first place. Pros:
Basecamp is an incredibly strong task management tool. Great for small teams. As far as resource management and any medium sized projects basecamp lacks behind its competitors. With all this said, I love basecamp as it is nostalgic for decades now of work that I've been able to implement easy with teams and organizations.
Cons:
resource management, alignment, lack of scheduling, confusing interface that forces users to just use search, upgrades and updates... although good, only make it harder to leave and not actually fix needed overhauls.

Useful, but there's better
Comments: I was handling projects using Basecamp and overall it was just a bit clunky.

I like the refined minimalist layout overall.

It's just not as intuitive. There are other tools out there that are better.

Basecamp is great for remote teams to track and accomplish recurring projects
Comments: Been using this for several years, I do like how simple it is to organize and accomplish tasks across the board. I would say, if you're looking for a project management solution for recurring tasks and projects, this is a great fit.
Pros:
I really love how it organizes conversations around tasks. Each task has a permanent record of the discussion going on for it, which keeps the discussion focused and organized.
Cons:
There are three versions of basecamp, and they don't talk to each other. I have suppliers using all three versions, and I have to log in separately for each.When you have multiple projects, the project updates can be hard to follow--it's not immediately clear which project has which update, I have to read the whole sentence to find what I need. Would like something easier, maybe color coding?
