Pros:

Makes managing our vacation rental on multiple platforms easy and allows us to utilize our own direct booking website.

Cons:

The app and the website can both be glitchy at times. Nothing is so bad that it limits being able to use the platform entirely, but it will sometimes require a reset of the app or refreshing of the page.

Pros:

Customer service is great! They’ve always responded in a timely manner.

Cons:

Linking multiple units together on the calendar has been difficult. Unable to link a parent unit to multiple units.

Buyer beware they’re very unreliable in so many ways

Comments: Definitely not a good experience. Overall, we decided to go with another software after giving them chances. Customer service is slow to answer, and there are just way too many glitches with calendars and double bookings. We have posted on host support sites and have the same thing for many owners.

Pros:

The ease of set up and easy to maneuver on the site and app

Cons:

They are one of the most unreliable, inconsistent and unprofessional companies we have dealt with in this business. It takes days for customer service to answer you if you’re having a problem, and most of the time, it’s a big answer, and requires you to go back-and-forth, which adds more time. The sync feature for calendars and integrations is horrible. we have had consistent double bookings because of glitches on their end. This is a dealbreaker for us.

A good choice for STR business

What I liked most about Guesty For Hosts is its powerful automation tools that simplify managing multiple properties. Cons:

One aspect I liked least about Guesty For Hosts is its pricing, which can be expensive for smaller operations. Additionally, the platform's extensive features can be overwhelming, resulting in a steep learning curve for new users. Occasionally, customer support response times are slower during peak periods, which can be frustrating.

I s not VRBO friendly platform, at least so far I can't connect it each other.

Comments: Wonderful! Easy to use, not harder to manage and change. Template are a great functionality.

Pros:

Guesty made it super easy to connect all of my channels together. I have my calendar manager in price labs and my cleaning manager in turbo I needed to connect to Airbnb. Without Guesty for hosts, I wouldn’t have been able to do that!

Cons:

Price was a little steep but I will will be worth it in the long run.

Reasons for Switching to Guesty For Hosts: Name brand. Recommendation timing were key in choosing Guesty of a hospitable.com.

Guesty For Hosts Works Very Well & Is A Must Have For Simple Integration

Comments: Was challenging at first and a lot of work to set everything up, but once you do that it's easy to use.

Pros:

That it integrates well with my calendars, my smart lock, guest communication across platforms, etc.

Cons:

Not on google hotels yet like their competitors and seems like it's going to be another year before they do or more.

Reasons for Switching to Guesty For Hosts: Cheaper and did the same basics I needed, plus it integrated better with my softwares.

Great product!

Comments: I have had an A+ experience since my free trial. It didn't take me long to subscribe and I feel the benefits will greatly outweigh the cost of the software. With a monthly and yearly option it was easy to work into my current budget. Great product!

Pros:

The price point is perfect at only $49 per month and it is loaded with options. Being able to sync all of my platforms to one channel manager has been a lifesaver and reduced my workload by 35% or more.

Cons:

I have no cons! Implementation is the hardest and longest part but it is a breeze and they provide plenty of self-help tutorials and a thorough knowledge base.

Alternatives Considered: Campground Master, Little Hotelier, SiteMinder and Lodgify

Reasons for Switching to Guesty For Hosts: They had the most options, features, and functions at the best price point. Implementing their software into my every day process was easy and learning the system was quick and easy.

Disappointed

Comments: Overall, disappointed with it, great idea, badly executed

Pros:

That it pulled my Airbnb listings into one place

Cons:

It often doesn't load, it doesn't tie my listings into the right place sometimes, notifications to the cleaners don't go out more than they do go out, the support is atrocious takes week and sometimes months to get back to you (3 months is my record for a reply)

Broken Vrbo Integration

Comments: As of this review (June 12th, 2023), I would recommend using a different platform if planning to list on sites outside of AirBnb. The bugs I experienced in my 2 weeks were too severe, slow, and difficult to resolve. I don't have a problem using buggy software until it starts affecting the basic task at hand; unfortunately, I believe Guesty For Hosts is a software that was rolled out too early and could cause more harm than good to a customer.Overall: 3/5 starsUser Interface: 3/5 stars (Mobile Included)AirBnb Integration: 4.5/5 starsVrbo Integration: 2/5 starsCustomer Support Speed/Reliability: 1/5 stars

Pros:

Syncing calendars between AirBnb and Vrbo. This worked most of the time, but I did have multiple issues with Vrbo reservations lagging to show on customer-facing calendars. This led to an instance of a double booking. Ultimately, I "resolved" this issue by disabling Instant Bookings-- therefore, all reservations are filtered manually.

Cons:

Guesty's integration into Vrbo is broken to put it simply. To start, it was slow to integrate as it took ~3 days of downtime before my Vrbo posting was manageable again (if you integrate before your rental season, this shouldn't be a problem). Once integrated, Guesty attempted to deploy my AirBnb listing to the Vrbo platform but botched the job as it modified the Vrbo listing to have 13 bedrooms opposed to the 2 bedrooms my AirBnb displays (AirBnb has a feature to assign pictures to each room, and somehow the 13 rooms in my house each were listed as bedrooms on Vrbo).Another issue I continue to see is that Vrbo reservation lag to update in Guesty's database (and one time not populating in the database at all). If Instant Booking is enabled and you're in a popular area, you will observe scheduling conflicts.Lastly and potentially the biggest issue of Guesty, is the limited Customer Support. There's no phone number to call and it operates on an "email ticket" basis-- so a day or two can go by before hearing back from them. This can be detrimental when mixing the previously mentioned bugs into time-sensitive scenarios. With that being said, once I was able to schedule a video call with their Customer Support, I was matched with someone who was helpful-- you can just tell they're heavily outmatched with all the issues they're receiving.

Lack of Customer Service Makes for an Abysmal Experience.

Comments: ABYSMAL. Find another service to manage your property(ies).

Pros:

The automated messaging and integrated in box is about the only thing this software has going for it.

Cons:

AI driven customer service is the downfall of this platform. This software works great until it doesn't. Then you can spend countless hours going in loops with AI that cannot answer a specific question. Emails that are sent for help fall into a black hole and are never answered. My pricing is accurate of GFH, but is incorrect on my booking platforms and I am looking to lose money on my property, lose quality guests and possibly ruin my listing reputation. I am looking for a new integration service because this has failed me. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Comments: I have been using Guesty for Hosts for over a year now and it has been a great experience! The system is very user friendly and customer service is exceptional! It does everything I need from automatic templates/messages, lock integration, and syncing calendar between different platforms.

Pros:

Integration with Airbnb and VRBO is very easy. What I like most about Guesty for Hosts is the synchronization to one calendar and the automatic messaging which saves me a lot of time.

Cons:

One feature that can be improved in the syncing between VRBO and Guesty for Hosts. It takes around 5-15 minutes to sync to Guesty for Hosts and block out the day on Airbnb.

Features are great but the app has some bugs

Comments: Overall I would recommend Guesty for Hosts! The foundational capabilities are so helpful when managing reservations on multiple platforms.

Pros:

Guesty easily integrates with all of the major booking platforms and also helps you to set up your own direct booking website. I love the message templates and automated messages. These are more robust than Airbnb's message templates.

Cons:

There are some bugs in the user interface, especially on the app. Some screens don't display correctly and there are a couple quirks but they are usually easy to figure out. My biggest complaint is how slowly the app takes to load sometimes.The feature I wish they had was being able to allow co-hosts to the CMS. VRBO doesn't allow cohosts so if I could add a co-host to Guesty it would solve a lot of problems!

Avoid Guesty if Connecting VRBO

Comments: Guesty customer support is absolutely horrible. My issue stemmed from inability to connect to VRBO which appears to be an issue with the cancellation policy. I created an account with Guesty on May 22 and it has been nearly SIX weeks without the ability to connect or access my VRBO account. This has cost me thousands of dollars during peak summer booking season. More than 35+ emails have been exchanged with zero resolution and only a "our development team is working on it" response provided. In this time, there has not been an opportunity or offer to have even a phone conversation with customer support - everything has been through email which for this issue, it would have been helpful. When I stated that I was going to disconnect all connected platforms, only then did I get offered an 'opportunity' to speak with a customer success representative. Having experienced this, I would NEVER recommend Guesty for Hosts with anyone.

Pros:

Connecting your rental platforms is great - no issues with AirBnb. VRBO is a different story and the customer support has been horrible to say the least. Automated messages to your guests is very helpful. One stop shop for rental management is great.

Cons:

Inability to connect with VRBO which has led to significant loss of bookings during peak summer season. Customer Support is horrible.

Unified inbox is the real value

Pros:

There's no better way to manage multiple platforms than Guesty for hosts - the unified inbox is incredibly helpful to manage bookings and messages, especially if you're listed on booking.com.

Cons:

If I can change anything, it would the be the homepage view on desktop. It's not a great dashboard and would be more helpful to have a typical dashboard like in other apps.

Vacation Rental Ease of Use

Pros:

Guesty for Hosts automated messaging system is the main thing that we use the platform for. It saves us a ton of time and energy not having to keep track of messages being sent to guest on check in and check out. The ability to link to our smart locks is another huge benefit of the program. It again saves us a ton of hassle to not have to generate our own codes for guests.

Cons:

The software is clunky to use sometimes. It seems a litte outdated and could be more user friendly. The customer service chat is also non existent. It just directs to articles that are sometimes helpful, sometimes not. It would be better to talk to or chat with a human to resolve issues.
