Quicken Home & Business 2022 Review
Opmerkingen: We use this software for the accounting of my wife's small business and financial reporting needs for select government programs. This is the best accounting software for a small business owner/sole proprietor in the market today. We have been using this program for nearly ten years.
Pluspunten:
I like the updated tax tables and current regulatory database for up-to-date tax prep tax schedules and deductions. It is easy to input transactions, categorize them, and get a running balance with ease.
Minpunten:
My least favorite thing about this software is that it now requires a subscription instead of buying the program for a set price.

Easier to learn that Quickbooks but not as many features
Opmerkingen: Works really well for keeping track of spending across multiple accounts and offers simple solutions for designating expenses.
Pluspunten:
I was able to easily import out multiple business accounts into Quicken, something I was not able to do with Quickbooks. Updating accounts is quick and easy too. I like the simple flagging option that allows me to mark a transaction for later investigation.
Minpunten:
Will not generate a simple profit and loss statement based on accounts. I understand Quicken is meant more for personal, than business use, but it would still be a nice feature to have.

Not being able to use quicken anywhere is a big drawback today bYou need to use it on a Windows Computer. Thier app is useless.

Quicken is a Great Program!
Opmerkingen: Placed it on 2 units at first to try it out in our office and loved it so much we decided to switch everyone to it instead. Been using it daily for almost 3 years now. It's an excellent program!
Pluspunten:
It's very easy to self learn this program. It is equally as easy to teach to others too because it's simple to understand
Minpunten:
I have no complaints. It was easy to set up, it was easy to convert info from the prior program we were using. It was easy to learn and easy to teach to others. 10 out of 10 far as I'm concerned!

A great tool for any small business or nonprofit
Opmerkingen: Quicken is great in my experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a program that is easy to learn, user-friendly, and not cumbersome.
Pluspunten:
Quicken provides all the tools that many small businesses and most small nonprofits would need to track their expenses and to provide reporting to different departments. It's very user-friendly and easy to learn, but can get quite messed up if the data going in is not entered appropriately. Trust me on that one!The reports are simple to run, and provide all of the information that I have needed in a small nonprofit.
Minpunten:
I really don't have complaints about Quicken for the youth and the reports that I need it for. I'm sure that a larger company would not find it appropriate but for a smaller one it is perfect because the price is right, it's easy to use, and it's easy for reporting.
