Easy to use platform for data management
Pros:
Accurity is really simple to get set up, integrated seamlessly with our databases. Intuitive UI, made onboarding easy.

Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication
Comments: Accurity offers one of the highest quality pack of services and capabilities in terms of Data Governance capabilities. It shines at use and ease of adoption, as long as the company also adapts it's process management in order to create a synergy with the platform. It is missing some control over the main activities & users but we hope it will be sorted out at a later time with the release of workflow engine. It has simple interfaces that are easy to pick-up and it will surprise you how flexible it is when creating the data models.
Pros:
Ease of use made our on-boarding with the platform a breeze. There are not a lot of major technical features that will create difficulties for the users, they are rather simple to start on and hop in the work. The activities are straight forward and have been adopted quickly by the business users.
Cons:
The data model will give a bit of hassle to the implementing team. As with every new platform, a terminology and user interface experience must be taught, but there some terms different than real world scenarios which caused some misleading. Thereafter, maybe a localization module would be advisable so that end-users feel comfortable in a familiar scenery.

Comments: As with all software solutions the purchasing and configuration process is just the first step. Companies should ensure that they also apply the related change management processes. Especially clear definitions of roles and responsibilites are important. If this is applied well Accurity will bring the value of insight about your metadata - even for medium sized buisnesses.
Pros:
Accurity is useful for all kinds of users - the related Business Glossary enables clear descriptions of all Terms used in your specific Industry / Domain. The Google Chrome plugin to search for related values on any website is a nice extension. But also expert users have various options to build their own metadata management and governance processes. The open API helps to synchronize important information within your overall solution architecture. This helps to keep one source of truth.
Cons:
A deeper integration of reference data management would be beneficial. The product is provided with full documentation but can be overwhelming if you have no preliminary experience with such software solutions.

Very good support and motivation from vendor. All questions and problems solved immediately.
We got even additional features, relised by our request only, during the POC.
Pros:
The softaware is very intuitive and easy to start using, it's cloud based. Very short learning time for business users and it looks nice and attractive. Especially the graphical diagrams.
Cons:
There were some performance issues at the beginning, which one were solved very quickly.

Comments: On top of the tool being useful, the team at Accurity is great and will be with you every step of the way.
Pros:
The UI is easy to follow. I specifically like the business glossary which grounds all of your data work with terms that are fundamental to your business.
Cons:
The business term lineage can be frustrating at times. There are directional workarounds you have to learn, but a little more flexibility with two way relationships (e.g. Parent & Child designations instead of only being able to designate a term as a parent).
