Internships and Work Experience

Work experience: Cambridge

We offer a central programme of work experience to students from local schools, which usually lasts a week. A range of roles will be advertised in the spring, and the work experience week is expected to be early / mid-July.

Applicants experience a realistic recruitment process. They are invited to apply to the role that most interests them, sending a letter and CV. Shortlisted candidates are interviewed and given feedback. If successful, they will:

•  work within a team, with a manager who will guide them through tasks and projects
•  be introduced to the wider department and benefit from a range of opportunities
•  gain and develop transferable skills

Internships: Cambridge and New York

We occasionally have openings for internships in our Cambridge and New York offices, which offer opportunities for people looking to begin their careers in publishing. Interns gain insights into the operations of a global publishing house, as well as valuable contacts and hands-on experience, which can be instrumental in gaining employment. Our internships are paid and usually take place in the summer.
