Chynna serves delicate and subtle modern Cantonese cuisine with a focus of healthy eating.</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s start with the demonstration of &#8220;Kung Fu Tea&#8221; Pouring.</p>
<p><a title="IMG_1745" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/32044818420/in/album-72157677883029790/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/701/32044818420_e8ea3572c5_z.jpg" alt="IMG_1745" width="640" height="480" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h4><strong>Great Chynna Set 大展华苑套餐 @ RM 298 nett Per Person</strong></h4>
<p><strong>Year of “Rooster” Lo Sang 金雞凤鳴 (大紅凤凰撈生)</strong><br />
Replacing all the usual shredded carrots and some coloured crackers, this version of Lo Sang is indeed a special one. Using fruits as a substitute, it churned out all the natural sweet flavours: Jackfruit, dragonfruit, turnip, strawberries and instead if the usual raw fish as topping, Chef Lam cleverly uses sweet &amp; sour chicken. This added the flavour, crunch and it fits the Fire Rooster year perfectly.<br />
Tossed with fragrant peanuts, crackers and olive oil, it&#8217;s so good!</p>
<p><a title="IMG_1721" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/32382921836/in/album-72157677883029790/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/647/32382921836_140ffe1bc9_z.jpg" alt="IMG_1721" width="640" height="480" /></a></p>
<p><a title="IMG_1730" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/32382920916/in/album-72157677883029790/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/361/32382920916_23a97c1717_c.jpg" alt="IMG_1730" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>
<p><a title="IMG_1737" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/32382920106/in/album-72157677883029790/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/479/32382920106_8d3946c0c3_z.jpg" alt="IMG_1737" width="640" height="480" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Braised Vegetarian Fin Soup with Shanghai style Crab Meat and Fish Maw Soup 上海花膠蟹粉齋翅</strong><br />
Environmental friendly, say no to shark fins! This vegetarian fin soup amazingly surprised our palate as it was really smooth and tasty.</p>
<p><a title="IMG_1754" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/32382919196/in/album-72157677883029790/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/765/32382919196_4de50894f6_c.jpg" alt="IMG_1754" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Steamed wild patin buah with salted fish and touchu, chili and congee broth 豆酱粥辣椒蒸河八丁</strong><br />
The combination of flavours are so light (congee broth) and yet tasty at the same time (salted fish &amp; touchu and chili)! My fave dish of the night.</p>
<p><a title="IMG_1761" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/32382918166/in/album-72157677883029790/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/705/32382918166_70b252a74d_z.jpg" alt="IMG_1761" width="640" height="480" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Simmer abalone cube with sea cucumber and mushrooms in abalone sauce 鮑角腐皮肉卷</strong><br />
Lip smacking sauce loaded with so much essence from the abalone &amp; mushrooms. The ingredients are chewey too. So much texture.</p>
<p><a title="IMG_1758" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/32044817410/in/album-72157677883029790/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/614/32044817410_667f3afccc_c.jpg" alt="IMG_1758" width="552" height="800" /></a></p>
<p><a title="IMG_1771" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/31611230833/in/album-72157677883029790/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/495/31611230833_ce34162785_z.jpg" alt="IMG_1771" width="640" height="480" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Stir fried Korean pear with vegetarian meats and sea moss 蓮子齋肉髪菜炒雪梨</strong><br />
I&#8217;ve never had any savoury dishes with pear and this gives the natural sweetness to the dish. Also it decreases the the satiating feeling.</p>
<p><a title="IMG_1779" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/32382918236/in/album-72157677883029790/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/695/32382918236_db633503ed_z.jpg" alt="IMG_1779" width="640" height="480" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Stir fried fragrant rice with sausage, char siew wrapped with lotus leaf 荷葉叉燒腸仔飯</strong><br />
Fragrant, tasty and not too oily.</p>
<p><a title="IMG_1768" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/32382917506/in/album-72157677883029790/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/651/32382917506_edab95dc06_c.jpg" alt="IMG_1768" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>
<p><a title="IMG_1772" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/32382916836/in/album-72157677883029790/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/562/32382916836_25b32efee5_z.jpg" alt="IMG_1772" width="640" height="480" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Chilled carol weed with ginseng and wolfberry 人参枸杞珊瑚草</strong><br />
Love this dessert as it has all the healthy benefits that we all need. And it&#8217;s very chilling too!</p>
<p><a title="IMG_1786" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/31611228553/in/album-72157677883029790/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/595/31611228553_b3a6175d04_c.jpg" alt="IMG_1786" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>

It&#8217;s all about comfort food I would say. And for the price at The Gardens Mall, it was flooded with queues of people.</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>The Ultimate Ticklish &#8211; Signature BBQ Ribs</strong><br />
<strong> FULL (6 pieces) &#8211; RM45</strong><br />
<strong> Available in spicy &amp; non-spicy version.</strong></p>
<p><a title="IMG_1386" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/32227229031/in/dateposted-public/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/666/32227229031_57b5cdffdd_c.jpg" alt="IMG_1386" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Sloppy Fries</strong><br />
Fries with mince pork, signature sauce and a slice of chunky cheese.<br />
So sinful so must share!</p>
<p><a title="IMG_1377" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/32227229951/in/dateposted-public/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/597/32227229951_ddd436c2c7_c.jpg" alt="IMG_1377" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>
<h5></h5>
<h5><strong>Added RM12 for a Sloppy Fries + bottomless drink set and&#8230;&#8230;.</strong></h5>
<h4><strong>KIDS EAT FOR FREE!</strong></h4>
<p>We get to choose between Rice Vice or Oodles of Noodles &amp; because we had 2 sets, we had both and its portion was really huge! So can feed the adults too! Haha.<br />
Mini C loves both the noodles and rice! Cos they were so tasty and yeah he loves tasty food, especially those with dark sauce. Gosh.</p>
<p><strong>Rice Vice</strong><br />
Like a Katsudon, this is the only chicken dish I think. Love the crispy chicken and the tasty minced meat gravy just makes you wanna finish the whole bowl of rice!</p>
<p><a title="IMG_1376" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/32227230391/in/dateposted-public/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/342/32227230391_7b6963b4e1_c.jpg" alt="IMG_1376" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Oodles of Noodles</strong><br />
Spaghetti Bolognese with a Ticklish twist.<br />
Again the Ticklish twist is the minced pork gravy that infused so well with the pasta. Mini C approved.</p>
<p><a title="IMG_1366" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/32227231431/in/dateposted-public/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/390/32227231431_e2e489541b_c.jpg" alt="IMG_1366" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Hoilam Ting Fried Spaghetti &#8211; RM15</strong><br />
Quick yet wholesome meals made with premium cuts of pork fired up with spaghetti. You can choose to opt for their Ticklish pork lard rice instead of spaghetti.<br />
Fried spaghetti reminded us a lot about our study days abroad and this was tasty.</p>
<p><a title="IMG_1367" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/32227231081/in/dateposted-public/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/708/32227231081_205db784b2_z.jpg" alt="IMG_1367" width="640" height="480" /></a></p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Salted Egg Tomahawk Pork Chop</strong><br />
Salted egg craze is still going strong! They have a whole range of salted egg pork series but this Tomahawk was quite a disappointment as the meat was too dry and hard. Overcooked.</p>
<p><a title="IMG_1384" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/32227229391/in/dateposted-public/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/765/32227229391_1ca2980f4e_z.jpg" alt="IMG_1384" width="640" height="480" /></a></p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>And they have lots of catchy &amp; kinky phrase too. LOL!</p>

<p><strong>Hana Dining + Sake Bar</strong> brings a gastronomical experience that is sure to delight your senses through borderless Japanese cuisine. Infused with the impact of western food cultures, and the abundance of sake and whiskey choices. All wrapped up in one stylish and friendly dining atmosphere. Bringing in the combination of traditional Japanese Cuisine with Western Dining Culture, Hana originated from the Aplus Dining Sake Bar located at Taipei.</p>

<p>Since the year of the Golden Rooster is just around the corner, Hana Dining have catered some CNY set menus that is highly recommended as they specially picked some of their most ordered or specialties that are surely to satisfy your tastebuds. Well, not to forget to &#8220;Lou Sang&#8221; definitely, their Yee Sang will be the entree highlight of course.</p>

No candlelight dinner this year like what we did in BABE last year. Birthday dinner is always very romantic when Papa C is around. Awww&#8230;.. XD Well I glad he did suggested The Market @ Isetan The Japan Store as it&#8217;s definitely more affordable than dining in a proper Japanese restaurant ordering Omakase meals for each of us! And this floor offers authentic Japanese food and flavours, as well as seasonal ingredients. Ginza Hagaten &#160; Chris is craving for tempura while I wanted sashimi. So we were seated at Ginza Hagaten tempura bar counter and he ordered me a bowl of Sashimi don from the seafood bar &#8211; generous portion of O-toro, Ikura &#38; Uni topped on fragrant Japanese rice &#8211; RM78 &#160; Rice topped with Special Tempura &#8211; RM41 Containing prawns (2 portions), vegetables (2 portions), fish (1 portion), chicken (1 portion), egg (1 portion). When served, I turned the serving tray around so that I can get a nicer picture but the Japanese chef insisted that it should be served in his way. It was a funny and akward moment at the same time. Oops!</p>

<h5></h5>
<h5><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Sushi Shoya</strong></span></h5>
<p>We made this visit earlier in November but haven&#8217;t blog about it.</p>
<p><strong>Bara Chirashi Don &#8211; RM23</strong><br />
Definitely worth the money as the portion was quite huge and the ingredients were really fresh. They brings value-for-money bowls of bara chirashi to the heartlands, packing it in with salmon, tuna, tamago, ikura and pickled cucumbers.</p>
<p><a title="IMG_9587" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/30994599053/in/album-72157674341273533/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c6.staticflickr.com/1/421/30994599053_db5cbc060d_z.jpg" alt="IMG_9587" width="640" height="480" /></a></p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Daikon &#8211; RM2 per piece</strong><br />
After dinner snack was Japanese white radish in hot oden soup. The broth was a bit too clear to our liking haha. Unlike the more concentrated ones in Japan.</p>

<h5></h5>
<h5><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Tsujiri</strong></span></h5>
<p>We were pretty lucky as Tsujiri was a pop-up store at Isetan till that day itself! And we were like the last batch of customers there. Haha.<br />
The last time we had in Tsujiri was in Kyoto &amp; we have been thinking to visit them when they opened in Malaysia. So happened they appeared in front of us in Isetan! Haha.</p>
<p><a title="IMG_0442" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/30994599863/in/album-72157674341273533/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c8.staticflickr.com/1/337/30994599863_a310236580_z.jpg" alt="IMG_0442" width="640" height="480" /></a></p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Thank you Papa C for pampering me all the time &amp; being the best husband that I can ever ask for!<br />
Fast fast finished dinner and went home to our Mini C &lt;3</p>

<h4><em><strong>Christmas Eve Dinner Menu</strong></em><br />
<em><strong> RM280 nett per pax (without wine)</strong></em><br />
<em><strong> RM380 nett per person with wine pairing</strong></em></h4>
<p><a title="IMG_0186" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/30904509834/in/album-72157677940220516/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c3.staticflickr.com/1/337/30904509834_e429ce2be3_z.jpg" alt="IMG_0186" width="640" height="480" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Prelude</strong><br />
<strong> Spiced Mulled Wine</strong><br />
This is like the welcome winter warmer drink and it made me miss our days studying at Scotland. Queing to get a glass at their Christmas Market!<br />
Thank you Majestic for the reminiscence! Haha.<br />
A hearty red wine with deep fruit and nice tannins can be a great pleasure, how about heating things up with a nice steaming hot cup of wine? So warm and fuzzy!</p>
<p><a title="IMG_0164" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/31630119161/in/album-72157677940220516/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c2.staticflickr.com/1/756/31630119161_da462624ef_c.jpg" alt="IMG_0164" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>
<p><a title="IMG_0173" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/30904510924/in/album-72157677940220516/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c5.staticflickr.com/1/401/30904510924_715f796965_z.jpg" alt="IMG_0173" width="640" height="480" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Amuse Bouche</strong><br />
Salmon, crème fraiche, fresh dill</p>
<p><a title="IMG_0179" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/31599304382/in/album-72157677940220516/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c7.staticflickr.com/1/723/31599304382_6caab4f7e8_c.jpg" alt="IMG_0179" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>
<p><a title="IMG_0188" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/31373270580/in/album-72157677940220516/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c5.staticflickr.com/1/468/31373270580_b8b095dbed_c.jpg" alt="IMG_0188" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Starter</strong><br />
<strong> Seared Bay Scallop, white asparagus and broad beans &#8211; paired with Huntaway Marlborough Sauvignonn Blanc New Zealand.</strong><br />
The delicate sweet flavour and tender texture of scallops are undeniably good &#8211; my scallops came out sweet and crunchy, with a tender, springy center that was never rubbery.</p>
<p><a title="IMG_0190" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/30904508614/in/album-72157677940220516/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c7.staticflickr.com/1/687/30904508614_475bfb146d_c.jpg" alt="IMG_0190" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>
<p><a title="IMG_0200" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/31373270020/in/album-72157677940220516/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c5.staticflickr.com/6/5564/31373270020_49a8c6825a_z.jpg" alt="IMG_0200" width="640" height="480" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Soup</strong><br />
<strong> Australian red onion soup with Gruyère toasts</strong><br />
Though it&#8217;s a hard cheese, aged Gruyère melts nicely on the toasts. So crispy and flavoursome, they pair really well with the red onion soup that is mild and sweet.</p>
<p><a title="IMG_0204" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/30904507804/in/album-72157677940220516/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c5.staticflickr.com/1/535/30904507804_37751133c9_c.jpg" alt="IMG_0204" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>
<p><a title="IMG_0207" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/31373269490/in/album-72157677940220516/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c3.staticflickr.com/1/704/31373269490_7683848295_c.jpg" alt="IMG_0207" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Sorbet</strong><br />
<strong> Raspberry sorbet</strong><br />
A palate cleanser before the main course is served, their version is rich and sweet enough to be a dessert all on its own. Huge portion too.</p>
<p><a title="IMG_0211" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/30904507184/in/album-72157677940220516/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/397/30904507184_922f7bcdf3_c.jpg" alt="IMG_0211" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>
<p><a title="IMG_0214" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/31746452615/in/album-72157677940220516/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c8.staticflickr.com/1/774/31746452615_f5358cb3bd_c.jpg" alt="IMG_0214" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Main Course</strong><br />
<strong> Roasted turkey with parsnip mashed, roasted root vegetables, stuffing and giblet gravy &#8211; paired with Sister’s Run Epiphany McLaren Vale Shiraz Australia.</strong><br />
My portion was the thigh and thus, it was moist &amp; flavourful. While Chris&#8217;s was being served the turkey breast, his serving was a little tough and dry. However their delicious gravy, it was still all good.<br />
I personally love their mashed parsnip underneath, beating any typical mashed potato served.</p>
<p><a title="IMG_0227" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/30904506554/in/album-72157677940220516/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c3.staticflickr.com/1/353/30904506554_50ecafc229_c.jpg" alt="IMG_0227" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>
<p><a title="IMG_0230" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/31373268490/in/album-72157677940220516/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c3.staticflickr.com/1/291/31373268490_611666be56_c.jpg" alt="IMG_0230" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Dessert</strong><br />
<strong> Orange parfait with cinnamon crumble, grapefruit sherbet.</strong><br />
Dig in the layers of treasures! The cinnamon crumble gave the added crunchy texture and the cold sherbet paired so well with the fruity concoction.</p>
<p><a title="IMG_0237" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/31373268010/in/album-72157677940220516/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c3.staticflickr.com/1/735/31373268010_b9b97b3664_c.jpg" alt="IMG_0237" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>
<p><a title="IMG_0238" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/31746451255/in/album-72157677940220516/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c8.staticflickr.com/1/434/31746451255_03d129e266_c.jpg" alt="IMG_0238" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Petite Four</strong><br />
Homemade cookies and chocolates to go with the freshly brewed coffee or tea.</p>
<p><a title="IMG_0245" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/31373267770/in/album-72157677940220516/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c3.staticflickr.com/1/423/31373267770_206289d14b_c.jpg" alt="IMG_0245" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The dinner wasn&#8217;t quite complete with the dazzling Christmas jingles and gigs from their band <strong>Soliano&#8217;s</strong> of course. So be prepared to sit back, enjoy the delicious dinner spread and great music.</p>

<p>Here at Em By Tedboy, they came out with a new menu themed:</p>
<h4><em><strong>Mediterranean with a dash of Asian</strong></em></h4>
<p>Em by Tedboy offers a unique and casual dining experience that we are sure you and your family will enjoy. Well, of course we do!<br />
With this new menu, we&#8217;re sure that they&#8217;ll be able to create some excitement to diners by giving a traditional dish a new look while still aiming to entice them to dare to try it by offering some familiar ingredients &#8211; it will be like: traveling the world through their food.</p>

<blockquote><p><strong>Let&#8217;s travel around the world through their food!</strong></p></blockquote>
<p>It&#8217;s definitely not so complete without a drink or two to pair with. We had their <strong>House Pour wines of Red &amp; White from Chile</strong> that goes really well with the food we had.</p>
<p><a title="IMG_9318" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/30655880860/in/album-72157676417106446/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c5.staticflickr.com/6/5611/30655880860_eee399c193_z.jpg" alt="IMG_9318" width="640" height="480" /></a></p>

<h5></h5>
<h5><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Starters</span></h5>
<p><strong>Asian Tabbouleh &#8211; RM22</strong><br />
A fun concoction of couscous, fresh herbs, egg wedges, dried shrimps and salted fish dices; served on a bed of romaine lettuce.<br />
Love this healthy portion of salad/ starter as it was packed with lots of flavours though it looked bland. Adding the couscous gave more texture to it.</p>
<p><a title="IMG_9338" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/30655877880/in/album-72157676417106446/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/6/5680/30655877880_449475a9a7_c.jpg" alt="IMG_9338" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>
<p><a title="IMG_9342" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/30655877260/in/album-72157676417106446/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c5.staticflickr.com/6/5644/30655877260_ff2b66aa83_c.jpg" alt="IMG_9342" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Big Pho Ga &#8211; RM18</strong><br />
Vietnamese rice noodles with chicken and bean sprouts, sprinkled with spring onions, chilli, cilantro and basil &#8211; served in a delicious hot broth!<br />
Well, I hardly seen pho served out of a Vietnamese restaurant!</p>
<p><a title="IMG_9336" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/30655877740/in/album-72157676417106446/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c5.staticflickr.com/6/5442/30655877740_eb5d0b0fd1_c.jpg" alt="IMG_9336" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>
<p><a title="IMG_9344" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/30655877050/in/album-72157676417106446/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c3.staticflickr.com/6/5783/30655877050_3d8cb8e321_c.jpg" alt="IMG_9344" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h5><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Mains</span></h5>
<p><strong>Moroccan Lamb Tajine &#8211; RM26</strong><br />
Slow-cooked tender lamb shoulder with almonds and prunes, served with couscous and garnished with coriander.<br />
No gamie flavour at all, the meat was tender and the gravy was so flavoursome.</p>
<p><a title="IMG_9377" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/30869223831/in/album-72157676417106446/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c8.staticflickr.com/6/5468/30869223831_4c35e7b00c_c.jpg" alt="IMG_9377" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>
<p><a title="IMG_9376" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/30655872760/in/album-72157676417106446/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/6/5800/30655872760_83bf1165ec_c.jpg" alt="IMG_9376" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Matador in Kyoto &#8211; RM30</strong><br />
Valencian paella made with Japanese grain rice, mussels, calamari, prawns, edamame beans, tomatoes, capsicum and spices, garnished with nori strips and served with a lemon wedge<br />
(Require 20mins preparation)<br />
A clever fusion of Spanish &amp; Japanese, the fluffy Japanese rice does work well being a paella dish. And those ingredients are a perfect match!</p>
<p><a title="IMG_9354" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/30655875380/in/album-72157676417106446/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c5.staticflickr.com/6/5617/30655875380_2acbab7c0b_c.jpg" alt="IMG_9354" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>
<p><a title="IMG_9356" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/30869226281/in/album-72157676417106446/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c2.staticflickr.com/6/5350/30869226281_dd87133870_c.jpg" alt="IMG_9356" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Indochina Beef Ragout &#8211; RM25</strong><br />
A French inspired Vietnamese beef stew, slowly braised with carrots and sweet potatoes; topped with fried shallots and served with warm fragrant steamed rice. Being Chris&#8217;s favourite, the meats, carrots and potatoes were soft and well infused with the sauce. Went so well with the rice as well.</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Silky Carbonara &#8211; RM19</strong><br />
Classic carbonara with egg, crispy turkey ham and cheese &#8211; silky, not scrambled. Not overly cheese-y. Just nice.</p>
<p><a title="IMG_9365" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/30655873530/in/album-72157676417106446/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c3.staticflickr.com/6/5674/30655873530_e66eb93a45_c.jpg" alt="IMG_9365" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Chef’s Special &#8211; Butterfish with Grilled Mediterranean Vegetables and Red Pesto</strong><br />
An off-menu item, this is only available on certain days. But do call beforehand to check if the chef can make this for you as this was my favourite! The butterfish was nicely cooked &#8211; fresh and smooth. And the homemade red pesto sauce was da bomb!</p>
<p><a title="IMG_9361" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/30655876160/in/album-72157676417106446/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/6/5569/30655876160_834e9eb1cd_c.jpg" alt="IMG_9361" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>
<p><a title="IMG_9362" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/30655875910/in/album-72157676417106446/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c7.staticflickr.com/6/5343/30655875910_c7805e0535_c.jpg" alt="IMG_9362" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>
<h5></h5>
<h5><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Dessert</span></h5>
<p><strong>Panna Cotta &#8211; RM12</strong><br />
A simple chilled Italian dessert of sweetened cream, topped with raspberry coulis. I&#8217;m not a panna cotta fan definitely but this serving from Em surprised me so much. It was light, creamy and milky. So good!</p>
<p><a title="IMG_9391" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/30869221671/in/album-72157676417106446/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c8.staticflickr.com/6/5736/30869221671_fbfe11189f_c.jpg" alt="IMG_9391" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Creme Brulee &#8211; 12</strong><br />
Rich vanilla custard based dessert, topped with caramelised sugar.</p>
<p><a title="IMG_9379" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/30869223361/in/album-72157676417106446/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c2.staticflickr.com/6/5571/30869223361_1f6c44906e_c.jpg" alt="IMG_9379" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Mille-feuille with Strawberry (Chef’s Special)</strong><br />
Such a pretty dessert and not overly sweet, the pastry could be crispier.</p>
<p><a title="IMG_9383" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/30655871540/in/album-72157676417106446/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c5.staticflickr.com/6/5780/30655871540_58b3d13009_z.jpg" alt="IMG_9383" width="640" height="480" /></a></p>
<p><a title="IMG_9385" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/30869222601/in/album-72157676417106446/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c2.staticflickr.com/6/5485/30869222601_e9dcfb6796_c.jpg" alt="IMG_9385" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Sable Mojito (Chef’s Special)</strong><br />
A mojito dessert? Bring it on! It&#8217;s nicely tart, but not sour, with a good minty, lime-y tang!</p>
<p><a title="IMG_9390" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/30655870810/in/album-72157676417106446/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c3.staticflickr.com/6/5744/30655870810_abf6c022e1_z.jpg" alt="IMG_9390" width="640" height="480" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>I could just sit here all day to savour just their desserts. Tea time anyone? <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/2.2.1/72x72/1f642.png" alt="🙂" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /><br />
Perfect for my cup of coffee.</p>

<p>The 18 hole course at the Amverton Cove is a scenic golf course that blends natural beauty and challenging play, sprinkled with watered fairways. Each of the 18 holes is designed for the enjoyment of all players of every level, from first-timers to seasoned pros.</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>We have always wanted to bring Mini C out on a holiday (with lots of outdoor activities) and here we were, for his birthday get-away, doing all the things he love!<br />
What he loves?</p>
<p><a title="IMG_8894" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/30886300670/in/album-72157675444656252/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c7.staticflickr.com/6/5763/30886300670_3ff1bf48ba_c.jpg" alt="IMG_8894" width="600" height="800" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h5><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>1. Premier Suite</strong></span></h5>
<p>We checked in to our hotel earlier so that we have more time to relax and enjoy the facilities.</p>
<p>We were given a Premier Suite!<br />
Such a spacious room and it&#8217;s perfect for Mini C to run about. Indeed he loved the room so much we can tell. Haha.<br />
The first thing he did? Jumped and rolled on the bed of course!</p>
<p><a title="IMG_8843" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/31253898525/in/album-72157675444656252/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c6.staticflickr.com/6/5649/31253898525_36a3412c25_z.jpg" alt="IMG_8843" width="640" height="359" /></a></p>

<p>Though he loved the bed so much, he has to sleep here! LOL. Mommy &amp; daddy gets the big bed!<br />
Very thoughtful of them to prepare a baby cot for Mini C.</p>
<p><a title="IMG_8849" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/10927485@N05/30886309120/in/album-72157675444656252/" data-flickr-embed="true"><img src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/6/5557/30886309120_16e1a5d85a_z.jpg" alt="IMG_8849" width="640" height="480" /></a></p>

<h5><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>2. Restaurants: Coffee Terrace &amp; Rabbit Room</strong></span></h5>
<p>After some rest, we went for lunch at <strong>Coffee Terrace</strong> that is located at their Clubhouse. Just take a walk or if you wish to take the buggy for fun, you can do so too!<br />
And we had Asian/ local food! Highly recommended by David, their Fish head Curry is a must try!<br />
All the dishes we had was very tasty and even Mini C loves them.<br />
Coffee Terrace is an al fresco-like restaurant overlooking the lake and Animal Island across.</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>And as for the <strong>Rabbit Room</strong>, we enjoyed our <strong>daily breakfast here</strong>. They served ala carte buffet on weekdays. We settled our first day dinner here too, with choices of Western &amp; Asian treats.<br />
They offer great view of the 18 hole Golf course and we love dining outside for breakfast. Cooling &amp; relaxing while being surrounded with lush greenies.</p>
<p>Nice view!</p>

<h5><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>4. Animal Island</strong></span></h5>
<p>We took a boat ride (less than 5 mins) across the lake to this small island that homed some animals. Like a petting zoo, Mini C was really excited as he loves animals on books! Seeing real ones for the first time so closely, he was thrilled! Also, they provide some animal feeds for us to feed the monkeys, goats, deers and ducks too.</p>
