Dr. Randy Swearer is vice president of learning futures at Autodesk. He co-leads work on the Autodesk Learning Engine with Autodesk research—a project that weaves together machine intelligence, data, and human experiences to generate insights for customers across the levels of individuals, teams, and organizations. He also oversees thought leadership activities in the Strategic Foresight group. Swearer was previously the provost and dean of faculty at Philadelphia University (now Jefferson University) and dean of Parsons School of Design. He served as Deputy Director of the design program of the National Endowment for the Arts and the Design Division head at the College of Fine Arts at the University of Texas. He began his career as a designer at Wang Laboratories and IBM.
