We’re easy to work with, we’re non-exclusive and we don’t tie photographers in with exclusive / long term contracts. We don’t edit our collection, contributors choose what they want to sell.
‘Alamy has for many years been an important revenue stream for me, as a professional landscape photographer. Although image sale values have declined across the industry, sales volumes at Alamy have more than compensated to ensure that photographers continue to benefit from Alamy’s services.' Adam Burton, Photographer
Our ‘100% students’ project supports photography students while they study. We give students 100% of the money they make from the sale of their images on Alamy.

We’re proud of doing things differently and philanthropy is an important part of our company DNA. We donate a significant proportion of our operating profits to charity. Since 2007, we´ve donated over $6 million to good causes, including DNA and cancer research through SBL and educational research through the Fischer Family Trust.
We support a number of charitable projects working to improve health education and self-sufficiency in poor communities. Since 2010 we’ve distributed solar lamps to Haiti, Southern India and Southern Sudan.
