Planet Key was written and performed by Darren Watson with video created by Jeremy Jones from Propeller Motion.
The Electoral Commissions broadcast & advertising rulings saw both the song & video banned from radio or television broadcast and threatened with prosecution if not removed from sale on i-tunes and videos taken down from online. The pair challenged the Electoral Commissions ruling in the High Court on September 11 2014.
On 2 April 2015 the pair received a substantial 76 page ruling from Clifford J. that the song and video were neither a political broadcast or a political advertisment. As a result the song has been re-released with all royalties from sales going to support the Red Cross earthquake support in Nepal.
