What is the Virginia Coalition for Human Rights (VCHR)?
VCHR is a broad coalition representing 16 organizations and over 8,000 Virginians who believe that the Israel-Palestine conflict is a human rights issue that requires an open and free debate. We object to efforts to forestall this debate by placing limits on free speech and academic freedom.
VCHR is pro-peace, pro-equal rights, and committed to work for a non-violent solution that ensures full equality and self-determination for all Israelis and Palestinians. We are also opposed to hate speech and any type of discrimination based on race, religion, ethnicity or national origin, wherever it may occur, domestically or abroad.
