    Pretty neat. This can potentially formalize ideas people had on improving plausible deniability, but weren’t practical without an industry/community standard emerging. Improving privacy doesn’t always require more moon math; adopting better practices could also go a long way 👍

    I can also say from various private discussions with miners during the development of BIP91 that BIP148/UASF had a strong effect in regards to encouraging the quick activation of BIP91. The whole UASF movement greatly helped in regards to breaking the stalemate.

    Yes. You know wrong things. Anyone can hijack the name "Bitcoin" to create false impressions. BCH's philosophy is very different from Bitcoin - Bitcoin is based on rigorous, open, consensus- and merit-based development, while BCH is based on blindly following leaders.

    1/2 It has been one year since BCH split off from Bitcoin, and it is now clear that it has failed to gain traction as "the" Bitcoin. It was given its chance but now it should cease confusing the market with the inappropriate name "Bitcoin Cash".

    surprisingly, this seems to work! attached is block 534106 as png, prefixed with 8 byte length+CRC32 header save the :orig image, then the script in the following gist can be used to decode it to the original 'getblock' hex output:
