Long time anti-list person on a list here. But, if there is anything I'd like to be known for is being someone who tried to change the way comms is done (and making a Repo Man reference whenever possible).

So true. I was excited to pounce but this would have been one of most boring all hands that I ever attended.

We’re in this month's sessions, playing a few songs for the hometown crowd at Austin’s The White Horse. See the whole thing right here:

Unfortunately for the rest of the piece, the lede is "At the start of 2018, Wag looked like tech's next Big Thing." ??

Fascinating deep dive on when the 'need' for growth and internal misalignment collides.

Incredible to have as a colleague and even better to have him as a friend. Amazing run. From a one-man govt. relations show to a global team and all that comes with that. Super intense, groundbreaking work that Colin attacked with grace and a human touch.

The main thing about Twitter that's changed in the last 10 years is that in 2010 a crazy hack would happen on the Saturday night of a holiday weekend. Now it happens on the Friday before one. Kids these days have it so much better.

Neat that you'll be able to soon follow interests on Twitter but it would also be useful to have stand-alone apps that leverage the same interest-based account batches. I don't want to get hit with Trump stuff when I catch up on baseball news.

This is so true. I got into the Silver Jews at a time when was buying a hundreds of dollars of CDs a month and seeing live shows every week. It was like finding a next level to music.

“I asked the painter why the roads are colored black. He said, "Steve, it's because people leave and no highway will bring them back." So if you don't want me I promise not to linger, But before I go I gotta ask you dear about the tan line on your ring finger.” - David Berman
