    Imagine if you didn’t know if you were going to be able to legally live in your home, or go to work, on April 1. I urge you to think abt the real impact of this. We need to do everything we can to help extend DED status for Liberians before it expires 3/31.

    Saddened to hear that Shopko is closing its remaining stores. This is a big blow to small communities across rural Minnesota where Shopko may be the nearest store for miles.

    Places of worship are sacred spaces meant for prayers, reflection, and celebration. The tragedy in Christchurch is unconscionable, and it is especially horrible that families were gunned down at a place meant for refuge and peace. This violence should have no place in our world.

    If a telecom company is paid millions in federal $ to improve rural Minnesota broadband but delivers shoddy service while potentially breaking 35+ state laws, it’s a BIG problem. I’m asking to investigate Frontier’s business practices in Minnesota.

    It's appalling that in many states people can be fired from their job, kicked out of their home, or denied service at a restaurant just because they are or are perceived to be LGBTQ. I’m helping intro the because civil rights protections should cover ALL Americans.

    When the right to vote is restricted, it undermines our democracy. And if certain groups are discouraged from voting, then reps can't be held accountable for protecting the interests of all of us. Proud to support a bill to ensure Native Americans have equal access to this right.

    Glad I could recognize Minnesota’s Virginia Fire Dept for its work to save a woman’s life when I was speaking to firefighters gathered in D.C. Jim Hipple & his crew rescued her from a 2nd story window at about 12 AM. Check out today’s for more on their good work.
