You're right about parents' skepticism but it's rapidly changing. I own a few parkour gyms & there are now 100s in the world. @DavidEpstein

ANW is parkour+climbing+cardio. 1 problem is it's obstacles are limited & often non-existent in real world. Too specialized. @DavidEpstein

The Soviets used to require track/gymnastics/wrestling before specializing. Modern day amalgamation could be parkour + MMA? @DavidEpstein
