    Beautiful mural by at the Shirley Chisholm State Park! We opened the first phase of the park yesterday. When completed, it will be the largest state park in NYC. Very proud to dedicate this park in memory of Shirley Chisholm's leadership and accomplishments.

    President Trump is in la la land. If he is worried about law enforcement he shouldn't break the law. If he is worried about NY taxes he should repeal SALT, which targeted NY & raised our taxes by $15B. I lowered taxes. Trump raised them. Try the truth Mr. President, for a change.

    ...Texas will defend them & indemnify them against political harassment by New York State and Governor Cuomo. So many people are leaving New York for Texas and Florida that it is totally under siege. First New York taxes you too high, then they sue you, just to complete the job

    Today, all NY'ers should be very proud because NY has always been the home of the LGBTQ rights movement. It all started here. It started at Stonewall, and it continues today when I signed legislation to end the "Gay Panic" defense. Happy , New York!

    8 years ago today, New York became the first large state to pass marriage equality. It was one of the proudest moments of my life. Since then, we've kept fighting for LGBTQ rights (with GENDA, banning conversion therapy, and more) and we won't stop anytime soon.
