When someone is talking and refers to you, they use your name. But the moment you die you are referred to as a “body”. A mere lifeless body. “Where is the BODY now?” “Is the BODY ready for ghusl?” “When are they going to bury the BODY?” So stay humble. Always.

You want a better life? Pray. The more you pray, the less you will panic. You’ll see things clearer. The more you worship the Almighty, the less you will worry. You will become a more patient person and you’ll be less pressured by the stress of this world.

You may have forgotten the good deeds you did but the Almighty never forgets. He remembers everything! Whatever good you do is never wasted

Don't let your pain make you unkind. Nobody knows what the other person is going through. There's too much suffering in the world already.

Prophet Muhammad's example of fighting racial discrimination & creating anti-racism environments will be used in my "Race & Ethnic Relations" class this spring. Muhammad was known to show respect & value to people despite their color or ethnicity. People are unaware of this fact.

You don’t pray: people will judge you You pray: people will judge you Talk too much: people will judge you Talk less: people will judge you No matter what you do in this Dunya, you will get judged. Please the creator, not creation.

The Almighty has clearly stated that He will not burden us beyond what we can bear. If we’re unable to cope with the trials, it’s because we have weak faith and we’re not fully trusting Him. When this happens bearing patience becomes difficult!

Blanket statements like "Islam hates us" or "Islam stands for ______" treat Islam as a monolith. Once that happens, Islamophobia creeps in.

Be strong & have good courage. Nothing is too much for Him. The Almighty has already armed you with strength for every battle!
