    12 June in KZN & NCape, ANC retained 1 seat & IFP won 1 seat. New ANC councillor is John Gaolatlhwe Diphahe in Ward 7 Sol Plaatje Muni (92.90% of votes, 47.65% turnout); & Sifiso Nkosinathi Vilanai in Ward 6 Mtubatuba Muni (44.55% of votes,50.41% turnout).

    In 22 May in Gauteng & NWest, ANC retained 2 seats won in 2016 Elections. New ANC councillors are Phikisile Masina in Ward 84 Ekurhuleni Munic (67.95% of votes, 31.10% turnout); & Gontse Molotsi in Ward 12 JB Marks Munic (88.93% of votes, 54.89% turnout).

    15 May in ECape: DA retained seat it won in 2016 Municipal Elections in Ward 37 Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality. Georgina Faldtman is the new ward councillor. DA retained the seat with 54.95% of votes cast compared to 68.66% in 2016. Voter turnout was 36.67%.

    15 May in ECape: DA retained seat it won in 2016 Municipal Elections in Ward 35 Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality. Helga Van Staaden is the new ward councillor. DA retained the seat with 83.21% of votes cast compared to 83.83% in 2016. Voter turnout was 28.39%.
