    Today at promised legislation I raised the legitimate concerns on the delay around the proposed Cannabis Access Programme. It’s now two years since it was first mooted. Instead of answering the concerns Leo Varadkar chose to try and discredit PBP on the substantial issue. MIM

    The EU...Year 2019...

    For the second time in less than a month, is stranded at sea, now with 47 survivors. & have refused to let them dock, despite the consequences this can have on survivor health. The time for debate has ended. This needs to end.

    We increasingly live in a two tier Dublin: Either you earn less than 40k and struggle every day with incredibly high rents and cost of living or more than 100k and life is pretty decent. We urgently need a) a massive minimum wage increase b) public housing and c) wealth taxes

    This breaks my heart. We are all complicit.

    A detail my mind rejected yesterday just came back; a 14-year old boy, drowned in the Med as he fled danger and hardship, secured his excellent school report on his person so when he got to Europe we'd know he was a good boy, a hard-working boy and we might accept him.

    Do not vote for any of the parties or TDs who voted against this Bill!! They believe some people just are not equal enough!!

    Bill voted down 43 votes for, 82 against, 2 absentions (Inds 4 Change TDs). It's rejected by Dáil but children affected aren't going away. Campaign work will continue to give all children status and full rights to education and work.

    Amazing! First the Seanad, now the Dáil: an overwhelming majority have voted for the Occupied Territories Bill 2018 and a ban on illegal ! Ireland will always stand for international law + human rights, & we're one step closer to making history. Onwards 👍🇮🇪🇵🇸

    Parental leave yes! But please Maternity leave for Councillors! This is discrimination

    Its essential that something like this is put in place for TD’s,senators&local authority members without further delay.Its a pure disgrace the lack of accommodation made for female politicians MPs on parental leave to be allowed proxy vote
