    I just saw Bong Joon-ho’s 2003 film ‘Memories of Murder’ and I’ll be spending my evening trying to trace every think piece from the archives. ‘Se7en’ is an obvious visual ref, but weirdly so is ‘All the President’s Men’? Just me? Anybody? 2003 hot takes? Fine. I like films.

    There's a SURPRISE SCREENING at my local Picturehouse. I went to book, but it's a Covid-Sell-Out (i.e. only seats left are kept empty for social distancing.) I'm both THRILLED to see cinema being supported and FURIOUS because I WANT TO KNOW WHAT THE FILM IS I HATE BEING LEFT OUT

    If this was 20 years ago, I worry would have cost the UK so much more than he's giving. I think he's about to cost the UK lots more. I know it's a hard job, I wouldn't want it. I also think it's unlikely they will ever offer it to me. And he seems nice. But... 1/5
