Many white nationalists are fine with Zionism because they think Jews should have their own country, where they can live separately, and get out of other nations. But Israel is not and never will be my country. I have a country: the United States. And I'm not leaving.

You don't have to be respectful of your political enemies when they die. That's bullshit. In the Jewish tradition, we make their deaths an annual holiday and we wear costumes and eat cookies named after the enemy to celebrate it. That's how you do it.

Shouldn't we also trust Jews when they say that something is not anti-Semitism? Asking for a friend.

When activists like say 'from the river to the sea', they're not advocating for the destruction of Jews. They're advocating for a vision of a single, democratic state in the Holy Land that treats all citizens, Jew and non-Jew, with equality.

My parents were both born in Palestine (Falastine). My sity still lives there. So when my sister is being attacked for supporting the movement (protected freedom of speech!) we can't stay silent. Nothing is more American than the fight for justice at home & abroad.

I never thought I’d agree with Sheldon Adelson on something but it’s 2018, here we are. Not enough latkes at a Hanukkah party is a major letdown and tbh I’d still probably mention it years later

IfNotNow. J Street. JVP. Imagine if every Jewish person approached these groups and their arguments, asking "what truth is there to be found here? Why do these orgs speak to so many young Jews? What does that mean?" rather than instinctive defensiveness and vilification.

You forgot to mention that Israel was explicitly founded to assimilate Jews as a collective into ‘a nation like any other nation’, and given the affinities between Israel and neo-fascist regimes worldwide, in one important and tragic sense it has succeeded

"The Left also needs to understand better how antisemitism really operates: to redirect popular anger onto a convenient scapegoat, leaving the real enemies of the people unscathed."
