TIP FOR COVID, VENTILATION AND BACK TO SCHOOL: if you have access to a fan, don’t have it blow fresh air in, face the fan OUTSIDE so it pulls inside air out! It may seem counter intuitive but will be more helpful for ventilation based on recent studies.

While reading about the origins of COVID-19 I learned of the cut-hunter hypothesis for origins of HIV. The virus 𝘚𝘐𝘝𝘤𝘱𝘻 may have transferred from chimpanzee to human through open wounds while snaring the animal. Prior to this I'd only been told homophobic origin stories.

While it’s nice to think that we live in such a post-problematic society, the truth right now is that representation does matter; in getting more people involved within science and within discussions around science. It’s important for people to be represented to feel involved.
