    We are gravely concerned that Sheikh Salman al-Awda—the prominent religious reformist cleric—could be sentenced to death & executed in Saudi Arabia. This trial is clearly politically-motivated & meant to silence independent voices in the country.

    US government has just announced plans to resume federal executions for 1st time since 2013. This decision is outrageous. It’s the latest indication of Trump administration’s disdain for human rights. The death penalty is the ultimate cruel & inhuman punishment.

    To see a loved one wrongfully detained is a painful ordeal. But to not know where they are detained, or if they are even alive, is even harder.

    👏🏿👏🏾👏🏼 Northern Ireland’s 158-year-long abortion ban has finally been brought to an end & equal marriage made law. Future generations in Northern Ireland will no longer have to suffer inequality in the way so many have had to endure in the past. 👏🏼👏🏾👏🏿
