    My question is whether currency is the only purpose, and how important is currency for that purpose? Probably most would agree "very important" (bear that in mind when commenting). The question is about the unknown other beyond the boundary of cryptocurrency

    Currency is the purpose, technology is the way to achieve the purpose. Without purpose the technology is pointless, without technology, the purpose can't be achieved.

    Murat Karayilan of PKK tells Denge Welat radio that a joint Turkish-Russian delegation visited Abdullah Ocalan in Imrali prison and asked him to put pressure on YPG to abandon the fight in Afrin. Not clear when the visit happened but Ocalan rejected the request, says Karayilan

    Easy money through ICOs isint the answer... incentives for developpers should be based on utility not speculative bubbles. Market will fund tech they really need. We can subsidize what we build for ourselves for those who can’t afford. Open-source corporate ethhics culture > ICOs
