I wrote a book about service workers for web designers. It’s called Going Offline and it’s available in paperback and digital formats: I think you’ll like it.

Excellent advice from : “Share what you learn. And the best time to share is while you’re learning it. (You’ll have a voice in your head saying ‘Everyone knows this already’... Ignore that voice.)” More ABA author advice on the blog:

Found myself nodding along in agreement with ’s Components and concerns article: I’m particularly fond of his concluding paragraph which made both chuckle and hunger at the same time.

Four WWII-era American planes flew over Brighton this morning. It was beauteous! Pretty sure I saw a Lightning, a Corsair, and maybe a Flying Fortress.

“There’s nothing in [..] separation of concerns on the web (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) that restricts it only to pages [..] I would say it works best when it’s applied on smaller scales.” I _always_ thought SOC makes the _most_ sense on a component level.

I posted a lot to my website yesterday: It makes me feel guilty and proud at the same time—like I’m somehow being really productive by wasting time on the internet.
