    Conversations surrounding consent & healthy relationships should not be gendered! knows what they're talking about - ALL OF US must participate fully in these convos if we want to see tangible social change

    A8: Girls & young women aged aged 16-19 face a victimization rate almost triple the national average. Conversations about consent and healthy relationships must start early & MEN & BOYS MUST be a part of those conversations

    Absolutely! is never the victims fault and systemic victim blaming must be dismantled

    A6. Great question! 👏 Often, popular culture reduces to an individual’s behavior (product of psychopathology, alcohol abuse, etc.), failing to contextualize it as a social problem that is actually condoned and supported by cultural norms.

    A6: No examples spring to mind and that's exactly the issue! Trauma informed care is still a relatively new treatment framework but having nuanced, accurate portrayals of such an approach is extremely important for victims and advocates alike
