    Wonderful to see one of my favourites, at the - “Hovor II” (2004). Flattened bottle tops are sewn together in the style of Kente Cloth, a royal cloth of the Asante and Ewe people. Hovor means ‘cloth of value’ in the Artist’s native Ewe language.

    Went to to check out the Contemporary Muslim Fashions exhibit and it was DOPE. The detail, thought, and occasional statement of rebelliousness...I loved it all 💖. I’m particularly fond of the extravagant sparkly ones. PS: Tomorrow is the last day of the exhibit
