Hello and welcome to The Endearing Home!
Over the past 17 years my family has moved a lot! It wasn’t until our recent move to North Carolina that we feel like we have finally found a place to call home and begin to set down some roots. With so many moves over the years our home always felt staged to sell and resale always guided our decorating and home improvement decisions. Creating a comfortable and inviting home for our family and friends brings me great joy. With no plans to move again anytime soon I can finally have the freedom to decorate from my heart and a little less from my head .
I honestly don’t have the best DIY skills but if there is a project I think I can tackle I always like to give it a try. Sometimes things turn out better than expected and other times they are a bit of a disaster. I truly believe decorating does not have to cost a lot of money. Sometimes just moving a few pieces of furniture around, finding a new use for something that you already have or simply spending the day cleaning and decluttering can help you see your home in a new way and one you love. I hope you will join me as we turn our house into home and I’ll share my budget friendly tips and ideas for DIY projects, decorating, crafts and organizing.
