Treated friends from Ohio to breakfast a couple weeks ago. The food was incredibly delicious and the service was outstanding. Received advanced warning about long wait times because the place is so popular, but fortunately hit the sweet spot and got seated within ten minutes. Parking is a challenge, however, the trendy Lincoln Park neighborhood is wonderful, inviting and well worth the walk. I highly recommend this establishment and cannot wait to return. By the way, the flavored French toast with whipped maple butter is sinfully irresistible. Ditto for the blackened salmon. Yummy!

It was loud and crowded place but offcource it was in the mid of downtown and it was one the best returant in downtown, food we really good we were their for brunch on Saturday and tried enchiladas which was in buffet with eggs so kinda new thing very good in flavor, service was good , waited too long but yes it was worth waiting must try place will definitely come again when ever we'll go back to Chicago

I love Roscoe's and my bf and I have been going there for over a decade. Staff that love their job, work hard non stop, and greet you with a smile. The negative reviews I see on here are probably from drunk, out of town, rude people that did something to deserve shitty treatment. Bouncers have a job to do and that is to keep the people that can ruin everyone else's good time out. Spin did a shitty job at keeping that riff raf out and it closed after people stopped going because they got robbed and drug busts kept happening out front. Keep up the great work Roscoe's, you are a neighborhood staple!

Someone said "expect to be treated different if you dont look filthy rich". Well I came in to register in a t-shirt and jeans, and I don't look filthy rich, nor even close. The staff at the door and front counter couldn't have been nicer. The staff at the terrace were extremely kind and sat us on the rail with a great view down the river and the London hotel. Drinks were served promptly and with a smile. I was always called sir. Though we arrived 10 minutes before closing, Breakfast in the morning at 16 was outstanding and again served with a smile. We were seated at the window with a great view. Food was killer. If you want to be pampered regardless of how you look I recommend it.

I visited over Memorial weekend Fri-Sun with my husband and two kids (6 and 8). Once we checked in, I didn't think this was the best hotel pick for children because there were a lot of younger adults staying here (25-35yr old crowd). However, the staff treated our kids like royalty! A housekeeper gave the kids complimentary cookies while waiting for the elevator, one of the cooks at the Shake shack gave them ice cream with sprinkles, the bellman handed my son a baseball and they received more smiles and waves than I could count from everyone else over the course of the weekend! The kids absolutely loved every second. Thank you all so much! I can't say enough good things about the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel. It's located right on Michigan Ave. which is in the middle of all the action! It's an awesome location being right across from Millennium park as well as a decent distance from the Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum and the Adler Planetarium (25 min walk along the water or a 10 min cab ride). The rooms were quiet and clean and the entire place had a great old-time feel to it. I'd like to also mention the fact that the hotel sent me a text message asking how my stay was going and if I needed anything. I thought it was one of those standard messages but was surprised when they responded to the question I had! That just shows how much they care about their guests. My husband and I will definitely be staying here on our next visit to Chicago. We'd love to check out more of what the hotel and city have to offer kid-free! The hotel has a rooftop bar that will be at the top of my list for next time! Thanks again to all the staff for a great experience!!!

I'm on vacation and this was my second visit since i'm in Chicago and couldnt resist going back to that awesome place at Navy Pier.. I was so excited and truly enjoyed it and plan to go back before I leave the usa. The atmosphere, ambience, food, bars, music, ferris wheel and ohhh the Fireworks was Beautifullllllll.. Great place for family and friends to enjoy... The many party n cruise boats look awesome. I would definately visit next year god's willing for 4th July celebrations to enjoy with family and friends and take a ride on the Blue Mystic or Odessey!!!!!!

We were fortunate enough to get in line right at closing time last night due to the fact that they shut down early bc of the holiday (9:00 but website showed 9:30.) We were given free passes to the tilt by a manager at the ticket office who was extremely friendly. Waited over 2 hours to get to the 94th floor where we got straight off of the elevator and went to get in line for the tilt. They were not letting anyone else in line bc they were closing for the night. We however got to get in bc of the tickets the lady at the bottom had given us (thank goodness) however several others begged and were turned away. As soon as we got off of the tilt we wanted to look at the view of the city from the 94th floor in which we were told they were closing and herded into a line to head back down. The only reason I am reporting this is because, the kind manager at the bottom said they shut down the ticket sales early was so that the people in line like us would not be rushed and would have plenty of time to enjoy the view. After the two hour line we may have enjoyed 30 min of 360 Chicago. Please take this into consideration for those who pay money and use their time while in chicago to choose this as an attraction.

Finishing up our last (sigh) year of summer camp at Maggie Daley Park (previously Daley Bi). I want to applaud the park and camp staff for providing an amazing experience. The staff is the best of the best, and the kids safety and enjoyment is always at the forefront of their planning and thought. The kids are busy (but not too too busy) get to take advantage of alllllll kinds of fun stuff to do in the city (sailing, fishing, paddleboarding, beach, pool, relays, ninja and on and on). They have plenty of time to play and be with their friends. Our kiddos have been going there for a decade and it's definitely been a wonderful place for them to grow up many other kiddos from all over the city.

Wonderful, breathtaking and all around treat for the eyes! Not only was it located at the end of The Taste of Chicago, it was directly across from Lake Shore Drive, in which you could cross the street and view Lake Michigan and all it's beauty! A look North of Lake Shore Drive, you could see The Navy Pier, so it was really worth the stroll! Buckingham Fountain was clean from debris and graffiti, well worth my trip!

If you are a Rolling Stones fan, this is a must-see exhibition, and if you are a complete died-in-the-wool Stones nerd like me, it is a thoroughly unforgettable experience. This completely immersive exhibition includes a plethora of music, video, one-of-a-kind memorabilia including instruments, stage costumes, and even a reproduction of Mick, Keith, and Brian's decidedly unkempt early '60s Edith Grove flat (complete with dirty dishes piled in the sink and blues records strewn across the coffee table). Always wondered what Brian Jones' dulcimer looked like? It's there. Want to see Mick's frilly white suit from the July 1969 Hyde Park show? You'll find that, too. (Along with literally hundreds of other costumes and articles of clothing). But perhaps the most enjoyable part of the show is the area where you get to play the role of producer: isolating instrumental and vocal tracks as well as "re-mixing" songs. It is truly a blast. I could have easily spent hours playing with that. I feel as if I'm only scraping the surface with this review. Definitely go and take it in if you get the chance.

Water Tower Place is a great place to shop and grab a bite to eat. There's a beautiful water display as you enter the building and a beautiful glass elevator. It's in a great location right off of the Mag mile. Stores like Macy's and Armani Exchange are located inside. Easy to get to by train and bus.

You really need to know how Peaches works. If you are expecting a "boutique" feel to your shopping experience, this isn't it. But, you need to remember that this is THE place to find a dress....no one else has their selection. Before you take your daughter, have her find dresses on their website so they can be pulled once you get there. If you don't do this, you may me disappointed because they carry over 22k dresses and they obviously can only put a few on their showroom floor. There is a crowd , and with teenagers all trying to find "the dress" and a few "uptight" moms, Peaches really has a great system in place. Our service was excellent and their system is really good. Again, it's crazy busy and won't have the small time feel of a boutique, but their system was pretty flawless. They know what they are doing. We were #97 at 10:30 am, and our daughter tried on every dress she wanted to see. We also got shoes and jewelry and were out in 2 hours. Very happy customers! We will be back next year for both daughters!
