Israeli Literature as a window to Israeli Society 


A literary journey that offers a fresh and fascinating examination of Israeli society since the birth of the State in 1948. An encounter with Israeli society through the pens of Israel’s leading writers, where students will discover an Israeli society that is original, contemporary, honest, and proud. Profound insights into the Israeli national psyche as reflections of the mythic Israel are matched by poetry and prose that is challenging and self-critical.A programme created by the Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem

Join one of our three small group classes with native-speaking, experienced and qualified teachers. The course runs for 10 weeks and offers Beginners, Intermediate 1 (basic) and Intermediate 2 (advanced) levels, as well as unique themed KishKushim breaks. All participants will receive a free termly ticket to a Kolnoa-Cinema screening  starting, Tuesday, 15 January

Parents Learning Project

Join us for Parents Learning on Sunday mornings at the Synagogue.
These session are made to enrich parents’ own learning, give them tools to practice Judaism at home, offer space to think through challenging issues around parenting
and also a good opportunity to get to know more families in our community
