Dear Lana, me and over 470 fan agree that performing in Tel Aviv, especially at this time, is a serious mistake. We all should take a stand against oppressors. Being silent never solved anything. We are simply asking you to follow the steps of even greater musicians, and cancel.pic.twitter.com/tNs4jdYhLx

Talking about the “big bands” who performed there and she’s following. Just pointing out that there even better and bigger bands who didn’t
-
i’m not picking a fight and i don’t have a political opinion because i’m unaware (i will get into it later) but i just want to say that 1. she doesn’t have to follow any example, she has every right to make her own decisions which she did.
-
and 2. you may find the referenced bands “better” but that’s merely an opinion. and if you go on “bigger” even the said smallest artists have every right to make their own decisions.
-
When you’re as influential as Lana, you have the obligation to stand for what’s right. And if you don’t, it tells a lot about your views. Not having a political “opinion” on an important issue isn’t OK anymore
-
I don’t not have a political opinion That’s what I’m stating. But it’s not going to stop me from sharing my political/personal passion for peace wherever I go. Im not a travel agent promoting tourism for each country I go to. I’m sharing my thoughtful genre of music wherever I go
-
Bloody autocorrect... you typed money and it got changed to 'peace'.

This is the biggest arts and music centre in the whole besieged Gaza. Israel destroyed it last week because it thinks that ppl like yourself won't care. Show them you do care.pic.twitter.com/FxprvsNBpG
-
It's a Hamas Command Centre you muppet. They use it to launch rockets to murder Jews, and to hunt down and kill Palestinian homosexuals.
-
Then they have to prove that 1st! By law, you can't bomb your prisoners because you think their art center in a front for their elected government. Israel bombs 1st and blames Hamas later because they know enough of the right people will buy their BS propaganda.
-
Interestingly if you search for the name of the "art center", the oldest result on Twitter is from 9th August. It had never been mentioned on the internet until it was blown up. Funny that. How do they "prove it"? Do you think Israel can send detectives to Gaza or something?
-
I guess I forgot that old saying: if it's too hard to do prove your accusations just blow it up

If your intention is to use music to “bring people together,” then demand Israel allow West Bank/Gaza Palestinians to attend! Can’t bring ppl together at an apartheid venue under apartheid rule. Palestinians do not have the same rights to attend.

This vicious attack against you and the aggressive words of the Twitter bots here should me enough for you to know that you are doing the right thing. History will be the judge of them

“Bots?” No. We’re people with common sense

It’s okay, he’s a Zionist. To him, anyone who does not support his apartheid illegal state is not a human.
-
When zionists are challenged, they scream anti-semitism to deflect. They don’t know that their apartheid state was founded by an athiest and abuse Orthodox Jews who oppose this illegal state.pic.twitter.com/U5gWQ1x22A
