Antisemitism Task Force 2017

Yesterday, the Antisemitism Task Force met in Jerusalem as part of the Jewish Agency for Israel’s Board of Governors. Yaakov Hagoel, Vice Chairman of the WZO and the Chairman of the Antisemitism Task Force, informed participants on the current statistics and trends concerning Antisemitic activity. Hagoel shared his concern that the fear surrounding Antisemitism will result in a loss of Jewry in the Diaspora as individuals will stop wearing Jewish symbols and assimilate through intermarriages. The Task Force also hosted MK Aliza Lavi, who shared with the attendees her personal experience with American Jewry and gave her recommendations to increase Jewish identity among the younger generation of the Diaspora.
