You can select one of the following options to suspend protection:

• Pause for the specified time - protection will be enabled after the specified time period. Protection will be enabled before the specified time if you restart the application or the system:
  • If autorun is enabled, protection will be enabled automatically.
  • If autorun is not enabled, start the application manually (Start -> (All) Programs -> Kaspersky Internet Security).
• Pause until restart - protection will be enabled after the application or system is restarted:
  • If autorun is enabled, protection will be enabled automatically.
  • If autorun is not enabled, start the application manually (Start -> (All) Programs -> Kaspersky Internet Security).
• Pause - protection will be enabled only when you decide to resume it.

Suspending protection from the context menu

In order to suspend protection of your computer from the application's context menu, do the following:

1. In the lower right part of the screen, right-click on the application's icon and select Pause protection in the context menu. If the application's icon is hidden in the notification area, click the up arrow(Show hidden icons) button.
   
    

2.  Select one of the following options in the Pause protection window:

   • Pause for the specified time (indicate the period after which protection will resume).
   • Pause until restart.
   • Pause.
     
3. Click Pause protection.
   
   
   
4. In the Warning! window, click Accept.
   
   
   

Resuming protection from the application window

In order to resume protection of your computer, do the following:

1. Open Kaspersky Internet Security 2015.
2. Click on the security indicator.
   
   
   
3. In the Security settings window, click Enable in the Computer protection is paused row.
