Check the system date and time. If the date is not correct, set the system date.

Try to update databases once again.

1. Check if you have the Internet access. In order to do this, launch the browser Internet Explorer and open the Kaspersky Lab website. If you have no Internet access, then contact your Internet provider to get additional information. Retry to update the application when the Internet is restored.
2. Reset Internet Explorer settings.
3. Clear the browser cache.
4. Contact your Internet provider to make sure that your network connection is set correctly.

6. Try to update the application once again.

If Firewall is installed on your computer, make sure that an allowing rule is created for the process avp.exe in the Firewall settings. 

Firewall secures your computer protection on local networks and Internet. Firewall is a program which monitors data transferred via Internet or local networks. According to the Firewall settings, it blocks or allows data transferring.

If a third-party Firewall is installed, disable it.

Once the Firewall is uninstalled, try to update the application once again.

1. Make sure that no antivirus software incompatible with Kaspersky Internet Security is installed on your computer.
2. If you found any anti-virus software incompatible with Kaspersky Internet Security, manually uninstall it.
3. Try to update the application once again.

Scan your computer for viruses. In order to do this, perform the following actions:

1. Scan your computer for viruses using  Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool 2015
2. Create a Rescue Disk and use it to scan your computer.
3. Try to update the application once again.

1. use Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10:
   • What is Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10.
   • Download Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10.
2. Try to update the application once again.

• Getsysteminfo report.
• Update report.
• Trace file.
