Folders recommended to be excluded in Kaspersky Anti-Virus 8.0 for Windows Servers Enterprise Edition

The performance of certain server software maybe unstable when accessing files intercepted by an antivirus program. Among such software, for example, are IIS server and server software with domain controller functions.

You can exclude corresponding file system objects from scan to maintain stability of such software. This can be done in the Trusted zone properties in Exclusion rules.

The table below details the folders recommended to be excluded.

x86-compatible single- and multiprocessor systems; x86-64-compatible single- and multiprocessor systems
Hard disk space:
- 70 MB required for installation of all application components
- 400 MB recommended for quarantine and backup storage
- 1 GB recommended for log files storage
- 2 GB recommended for databases storage

Minimum configuration:

Protected server software requirements

Kaspersky Anti-Virus 8.0 for Windows Servers Enterprise Edition can be installed on 32- or 64-bit Microsoft Windows operating systems.

Microsoft Windows Installer 3.1 is required for installation of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 8.0 for Windows Servers Enterprise Edition.

The server must be running one of the following 32-bit Microsoft Windows operating systems:
