Web Anti-Virus is a component of Kaspersky Internet Security which scans the incoming traffic and blocks attempts to run malicious applications and threats.
In the Web Anti-Virus settings, you can:
Web Anti-Virus is enabled by default.
We do not recommend that you disable the component as it will reduce the protection of your computer.
Web Anti-Virus will be enabled or disabled.
When the application detects a potential threat, it will perform the action that you have set.
If you don’t want to scan web traffic on trusted websites, add these sites to exclusions. Select On all websites except those specified and click Manage exclusions. Click Add, enter the web address mask and click OK. Web traffic received from these websites will not b scanned. All other websites will be scanned.
If you want to scan web traffic only on some websites, add these sites to the scan list. Select On specified websites only and click Configure checked websites. Click Add, enter the web address mask and click OK. Web traffic received from these websites will be scanned. Traffic from other websites will be skipped.
Links and websites will be scanned according to the settings that you have configured.
