How to use the Trusted Applications mode in Kaspersky Internet Security 2017

The Trusted Applications mode in Kaspersky Internet Security 2017 blocks all applications that are not considered Trusted (for example, the applications on which there is no information in Kaspersky Security Network database or those received from an unreliable source). Only known and trusted applications are allowed to run.

To enable the Trusted Applications mode:

1. Open Kaspersky Internet Security 2017.
2. Click More Tools.  

3. In the Tools window, click Trusted Applications mode.

4. Click Enable.

5. Kaspersky Internet Security 2017 will scan the operating system and the applications installed on the computer. Scanning may take a significant period of time (up to several hours). The scan is performed only at the first startup. Wait until the scan is complete.

6. Check if the applications you usually use run correctly. If necessary, you can adjust Application control settings by clicking Manage applications.
