Kaspersky Internet Security 2016

1. Open Settings in Kaspersky Internet Security 2016.
2. Click Protection, then scroll the right frame down to Firewall and click on it.

3. In Firewall Settings, click Configure application rules.

4. In the Application network rules window, find a vendor or an application whose Internet sccess rights you want to modify. In the Network column, click on the arrow next to the marker. Select an option on the menu (for example, Deny).

5. Close the window.

Each network may have one of the statuses:

• Public network.  Computers on the network have no access to files, folders, and printers. Access to your computer via Remote Desktop is also blocked.
• Local network. Computers on the network have may have access to shared files and folders on your computer. This option may be used in office or home network.
• Trusted network. This status is only recommended for networks that you consider absolutely safe. If this status is selected, all activity will be allowed within this network.

To change the status of a network:

1. Open Settings in Kaspersky Internet Security 2016.
2. Click Protection, then scroll the right frame down to Firewall and click on it.

3. In Firewall Settings, click Networks. The Networks window will open.
4. Right-click on the current type of the network you want to modify. Select the type you want to assign.
5. Close the application window.
