Anti-Banner is designed to block advertisement banners on websites and in applications. Not only are banner ads devoid of useful information but they also distract you from your work and increase the amount of your network traffic.
Anti-Banner in Kaspersky Total Security is disabled by default, but you can enable it.
Kaspersky Lab engineers maintain the database of banners. The banners whose addresses are found in the database are blocked by Anti-Banner if the component is enabled.
You can adjust the filters by adding new banners to it. The component also allows you to create black and white lists of banners.
