Patch A for Administration Console (patch_10_1_249_console_a.exe) eliminates the following issues:

• Generating report requires Write access.
• Notification by sms settings window.
• Links in "Update Agents - Network" sections are not clickable.
• Unable to change the update approval status for all selected Updates.
• Default on-demand scan tasks can not be removed completely.
• Reboot reason is not displayed.

Patch A for Network Agent (patch_10_1_249_nagent_a.exe) eliminates the following issues:

• Network Agent crashes - Unhandled exception 0xEBADC0DE.
• Next 3p-patch fails if previous patch installation takes less than a second.
• Localization of strings when sorting in NAC.
• Device Info comes with disabled options in the policy.
• Find vulnerabilities, wrong resolve %PROGRAMFILES% path on x64 hosts.
• Field 'Protection technology' is empty for found vulnerabilities.
• klnagent crash dump.
• Occasionally have Dump nagent if start task "Find vulnerabilities...".

Patch A for Administration Server (patch_10_1_249_server_a.exe) eliminates the following issues:

To install Patch A, run its executable file from any temporary folder.

• It is possible to install patch manually by running run .exe file on the host where administration console is installed and there is no administration server. 
• In silent mode (including distribution via KSC), the patch must be run with the command line key –s.

Limitations for manual patch run:

• The patch cannot be run from a disk root folder. 
• The patch cannot be run from product installation folder.

After patch A has been installed, please make sure that the files listed below have been updated to version 10.1.269.

• In the installation folder of Administration Console: klakcon.dll, klcskca2.dll, klcsstd2.dll, klcstr2.dll, klngtplg.dll, klsrvplg.dll.
• In the installation folder of Network Agent on Administration Server and managed computers: klcskca2.dll, klcsnagt.dll, klcstr2.dll, vapm.exe.
• In the installation folder on the Administration Server: klakcon.dll, klbackup.exe, klcskca2.dll, klcsnagt.dll, klcssrv.dll, klcsstd2.dll, klcstr2.dll, kldb_mssql.dll, kldb_mysql.dll, klngtplg.dll, klsrvplg.dll, vapm.exe.

Autopatch A is installed automatically for the Network Agent, if the required updates download options are enabled in the Download updates to the repository settings. By default, after the installation of Administration server these options are enabled. 

To enable or disable automatic download of Autopatch A, do the following:

1. Open the Administration Console.

2. Select the Repositories nod, click the Updates container and select Configure update settings.

3. In the Properties: Download updates to the repository window, select Settings -> Other settings -> Configure.

4. In the Other settings window, select or clear the check boxes.
