[Investigating] Our engineers are currently investigating an issue with our Order Processing on Paddle Classic. We will post more details of what's gone wrong, along with the steps we've taken to resolve the issue once our engineers have found the cause and restored our usual service.

[Monitoring] Today between 11:02 AM and 11:15 AM GMT, we experienced an incident which prevented the checkout from loading and which caused a delay in order processing for Paddle Billing. Our engineers quickly located the root cause of the problem and deployed a fix. All impacted services are operational, and we continue monitoring the performance of the platform. This issue impacted around 100 Paddle Billing checkouts. Once the fix was in place, our checkout was back online and the backlog was immediately processed. We apologise for this delay to our service. [Resolved] No further issues have occurred with regards to the Discounts, and this issue is now closed. Our Engineers have taken action to prevent this from re-occurring going forward. [Monitoring] A component of our service experienced issues and did not reliably stay online. This meant that a number of request to our Discounts service will have failed, although some will still have been successful. This issue took place between 9:02am - 9:58am UTC, when a fix was deployed and resolved the issue. We will keep monitoring the Discount service to ensure the fix was effective. We apologise for this disruption to our service. Please direct any questions you may have to Support.

[Identified] Users with adblockers installed in their web browser might not be able to open the Paddle Classic checkout because of a recent change made by a contributor in the EasyList adblock filter list.

[Resolved] After a period of monitoring, we can confirm that the issue is fully resolved. With this, the incident is closed. Below you can find a summary of what happened and the steps we've taken to resolve the incident. On February 19th, 2024 between 2:44 PM GMT and 3:00 PM GMT, we had an issue in our Paddle Classic order processing system. The issue caused the passthrough value to not be included if one was passed into the checkout as well as longer processing times for orders. Our engineers resolved the issue at 3:00 PM GMT. By 4:20 PM GMT, we successfully processed the backlog of impacted orders, restoring our service to its normal operational speed. Please bear in mind that even though the order was processed successfully, the passthrough value was not included if it was passed into the checkout. [Identified] Our Engineers have been able to recover full functionality of the checkouts, and these are now working as normal. We will update again once the cause of the order processing issues have been identified.
