Food is good but you really have to enjoy the atmosphere here to enjoy this place. The wait is long on the weekends to sit in the outside patio but well worth the wait. The margaritas are top notch. They do not have a menu because it is limited for dinner. The fajitas, tacos, enchiladas and the quesidillas are the main entrees but they have other things, just ask. The wait staff is always great. If you're from out of town, you must try it. People watching at its best. You never know who you might see.

We by extra early Lynne on a Sunday am, we wanted to be sure to get in because it was my 58th dirthday and we were there from Lubbock. They were amazing. They seated us early and brought chips took our drink orders and at 11 when they opened we ordered and had our food really quickly. Our waiter was amazing and super friendly. It's probably one of the most beautiful restaurants I've ever been to as far as the flowers and overall site. I'll go back.

Service was good once we got to the table. The fact that they don't care if you get pushed out of the way while waiting in line by cars and the fact that they moved 43 people ahead of our party in line after a 1.5 hr wait, gets them this well deserved 2star. And at some point, they need to get a good margarita mix.

We go any chance we get! I love the chicken nachos and the queso! My family has been going here almost the whole 30 years of my life! Homemade tortillas! I love the cheese enchilada meal! We love the pink cookies and the atmosphere. Yes we wait in line and drink margaritas usually because we love the outdoor gardens.

I was in town visiting family and they said let's go to this restaurant for lunch. They said the menu was limited and had a nice patio!
I was shocked to see a great menu and a beautiful patio!! Very relaxing great staff and fantastic food!!

It was Mother's Day Weekend and TCU graduation so we did have to stand in line for an hour. This place is beautiful, our waiter was attentive, and the food was great! We've been here several times and always enjoy it!

I gave them 3 stars because of certain reasons. They are 5 stars for scenery and decor. But they are 3 stars due to:
1. CASH ONLY!!! Come on this is 2017. Get on the credit card bandwagon!!!
2. Limited Food Choices. Being from Austin, Tx I am used to a greater choice of food options at a Tex-Mex/Mexican restaurant.
3. Drinks served in small, plastic glasses with the Joe T. Garcia's design on the cup. This is not that much of an important problem but I do enjoy a tall glass of... iced tea that does not need to be refilled every 15 min because it's served in a tiny glass.
4. 1 ATM!!!!! Really, if you are ONLY going to accept cash, give your customers more than 1 ATM to access. If there was another ATM that I missed, put them both together in an area that is easily accessible than the 1 by the main entrance.
5. Low chairs and High Tables. I am 6'6" tall and sitting in the chairs on the patio makes me feel like the chair were taken from an elementary school classroom.
I understand that they try to keep costs down by doing what they do, but I am used to a different type of service, food, and hospitality than Joe T's. They are a great place to eat, but it's not my type.

Cars/trucks wrap around the zip code waiting to get to a parking lot. It was Sunday so I parked at the Post Ofc.
The line of people wraps around the state.
They can seat about a million people, all over tje place, inside and outside, A/C inside, trees trees trees outside, bathrooms eberywhere.
Fast service, good food and a little different, as in good. Worth the interesting ton of cars, trucks and people. CASH ONLY

I came to Lean Six Sigma a month ago in Fort Worth. My District Manager said go to Joe T Garcia's. So I came on a Thursday on the first week of April. Over a 150 people were in line outside waiting. So I came early early today on Cinco de Mayo. The wait was only 50 people for lunch. It went relatively quick. For those who were anxious you could buy a pitcher of Margaritas for your time in the line. I have never been inside before, so to my amazement we eat outdoors. It's like... being in a tropical Paradise. The food was good and my server Rhett took care of all his tables. He had two tables of 12, my table and at least one more table. We were well hydrated, fed and never without chips and salsa. I could see Rhett's coworker struggling with one table for 13 next to us. Not Rhett. He was courteous, always smiling and never forgot us. Get job Rhett.

It was my first visit and definitely not my last. Food was excellent as well as the service. The back patio was amazing and beautiful. I can't wait for my next visit....highly recommend it!
