Nwipe will safely delete your hard drive to different industry guidelines. No information of any sort will be left including the working framework. While nwipe was once the same as DBAN or to be more accurate dwipe, Nwipe has had many changes to it's code and many fixes to bugs that were present in the original dwipe code. Just one of those bugs in DBAN that was not discovered until recently, was that while DBAN gives you the option of the ISSAC PRNG, it doesn't actually work!. Instead DBAN runs the Mersenne Twister PRNG irrespective of the PRNG option chosen.
