Anyone visiting Nashville must make FGL House their #1 stop. The food, the entertainment, the staff, the atmosphere is second to none. We spent time on all three levels -- the Piano bar, the Main level and the Roof Top -- and had a fabulous experience on each floor! The band on the Roof Top was one of the best and most entertaining bands I have heard. We then got to experience Casey Jamerson on the main floor....WOW is she great! I have only been home for three days and I am ready to schedule my next trip to Nashville and FGL House!! Thanks FGL House for the awesome memories! I will be back.

We were there last night to see Micky Dolenz. As always the food was great. We had the blended burger, which was amazing! Micky was a dream realized for this Monkees fan. He put on a great show, well worth the price of admission. All in all, I would rate the entire night five stars except for one thing (mostly beyond the City Winery's control). Unfortunately, we shared our table with four women who came in late, stood in front of us while deciding who would sit where, then proceeded to place their drink order without consideration or concern for those of us who were trying to enjoy the show. Then, when the wine steward delivered their wine, she, too, stood in front of us at the end of the table and blocked our view while presenting the bottle, uncorking it, presenting the cork, allowing for a taste test, then pouring the wine. Sadly, Micky was singing a personal favorite of mine during the wine episode. I literally would have paid to hear him sing just that song. Yet I missed it for a bottle of wine. I realize the fact that I enjoy neither the taste nor the feeling caused by alcohol precludes me from understanding the finer points of a good bottle of wine. But try to understand my point of view. Seeing a Monkee was like opening a rare bottle of Cabernet Sauvengon for me. However, as a whole, I truly love The City Winery. This was the first and only negative experience I've had there. And I must reiterate that I am well aware that most of it was out of control of the winery. I just wanted to share my experience in hopes of reminding others that their manners during live performances are deeply appreciated when used, and well noted when not.

Hands down, the best museum experience in music. It's amazing to see a lot of the placards for the pieces were written by Johnny himself. It's amazing to see all of the facets of his amazing career laid out. There is an option to get your picture with Johnny; I highly recommend this. Ever since the closing of the House of Cash, fans like myself have been pining away for a way to feel a little more closer to the Man in Black; this museum is that chance. Totally worth checking out! The only possible improvement is if they carried a shirt in stock over 2XL. Fat people like me are fans, too!!

Cafe Coco is one of the most Queer-friendly establishments in Nashville, TN. Half the staff is Queer. I am Queer. Being refused service at this establishment is a feat that would not be based upon the sexuality or gender identity of a person. Cafe Coco is an environment that nurtures several overlapping communities and artists from all walks of life. Traditionalists and Avante-Garde creators mingle and exchange ideas here. The open mic is the best in all the city. It creates a positive and egalitarian environment that encourages the best in artists. People who try to seem better are humbled while people who don't think they're good enough are empowered. Nowhere else is like this. It would be a crime to end the open mic nights.

Great place to catch some amazing talent! Donny Lee and Samantha Stroh are super talented artists. I hope they both hit it big one day. I also really liked the openness of the place as most of the saloons are closed in and dark. Honky Tonk Central is open to the street so you get a nice breeze.

Regarding the spa... fabulous. We enjoyed a spa day last week and it was amazing. Our group was treated so well from the instant we entered the spa area and wrapped ourselves in the comfy robes. Deborah was kindly consistent in checking on us and Twayana was there in the same way. I enjoyed a Sweet Peach exfoliating scrub and a manicure by Brenda and Robin and both were absolute treats. The relaxation room was such a comfortable area to rest and wait. I loved the dry sauna, I hated to leave it. The rain shower with steam was good. Towels were abundant and oversized. The counter in the bath area was fully stocked with nice products to enjoy. We had a nice lunch and enjoyed the spa water all day long. I was fully relaxed the whole time and exceptionally attended. I hope to come back often. Thank you, Westin and the wonderful spa staff.

Super cute, upscale hotel. The staff was very friendly and kept us entertained while our room was being finished. We were greeted in the parking lot before we even stepped out of our cars. We never touched a door during the entire stay and the staff was always on hand to make sure we were having a good time. Not to mention the hotel had a lot of history but was extremely modern and in a great location in walking distance to 1st and 2nd Ave. as well as Downtown Broadway. We go to Nashville quite often, usually staying at the Courtyard Marriot however it was booked up this trip, and this was by far the best place we have stayed. Would recommend to everyone

Having an appreciation for most all genres of music, the Country Music Hall of Fame was on my bucket list. To be able to see all of these people that have contributed so much to country music and music at a whole. To see exhibits from the all natural country of Loretta Lynn and George Jones to the outlandish styles of Elvis Presley, Hank Williams Jr and Waylon Jennings is just jaw dropping. To be able to see a small piece of information on each of the inductees was just amazing. A trip to Nashville, without going to the Country Music HOF is a wasted trip, even if you are not into country music!

We have lived in and around Nashville for several years and finally decided to go.. so glad we did. This is a fanststic place to visit. Even if you are not all that interested in history... the grounds are breathtaking. The house is well worth any wait.. we only waited a few minutes.. but to walk in a home that had the original wallpaper and floors and learn about the family was something you should do. The garden is beautiful as well. This would be a great place to just come and walk if you are a local.. get a membership.. and stop by... take a walk. They were playing baseball when we were there .. that was great as well. For the price it is a must do.. sorry we had not done it prior to this past weekend

We have had a cabin there for 18 years And it's a piece of heaven we have three boys and they played ball so we spent most all our time at the ballpark so to be able to be on this lake has truely been a blessing for us we live the friends in town the core of engineers have been there for us we at Gods children and smithvolle has some great churches to attend the jamboree you must come to on the Fourth of July all the mariners out in the best fire work shows believe me come if you have never been here

My wife and I enjoyed the nice weather yesterday by walking around the Bicentennial Capital mall state park in Nashville. Every hour on the hour there are Bell Towers that play Tennessee songs like "The Tennessee Waltz", The Wabash Cannonball and more. Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park is located on the northern side of the Tennessee State Capitol in downtown Nashville. And on the northern end of the park is the 95-bell carillon. The carillon represents Tennessee’s musical heritage and the citizens of Tennessee’s 95 counties. At the top of the hour, every hour, they play Tennessee-themed songs. The 96th bell, located on the grounds of the State Capitol, rings in answer to the 95 bells, to symbolize government answering to the people

The inn was amazing except for the bullfrogs late at night that thought they were Elvis. Its expected though its the outdoors! The rooms were great. The breakfast was really good the orange juice there spoiled me fresh squeezed. The cafe was really good. The tour guide at the mansion was awesome. He even sang a song he had written while we looked around. The wine testing was pretty good. I'm no wine person but I had fun! If your just looking for a place to just get away for a few days this is it. They said they will be expanding again over the next few years so I'm curious to see what happens.

I always love the Nashville Flea Market, even though it takes me days to recover! I can always count on a great selection of merchandise, great deals, and vendors who are friendly and helpful. Make sure you grab that item that grabs your heart when you see it, though! As a collector (sort of) of Madame Alexander dolls since I was a child, and a lover of Gone With The Wind, I walked away from a fantastic Scarlett doll, and she haunted me all night. I ran back over after church today, and she had already been sold. If you think something is a great deal, someone else will think so, too! The multitude of available items, from the brand new to cool antique finds, always kick my creative ideas into high gear, and I can't wait for the next flea market in a month. Recommendations? First, take the free shuttle up and down the hill from the parking lot. Even if you love being active, walking all day on concrete takes a toll. Be good to your body, and ride the shuttle. Next, bring a shopping basket that rolls. Even if you don't purchase much, letting the basket haul your handbag and/or purchases makes the day more comfortable. If you don't have one, buy one there! Next, have cash, and don't be afraid to ask for a better price. If not paying credit card fees, many sellers are more than willing to engage in some gentle, Southern-polite haggling. Let sellers who do NOT have what you want know what you are looking for. A gentleman manning a booth of honey, jellies, and tech items pointed me toward a building where I could find perfume. Most of all, don't be in a hurry, talk to strangers, and let yourself have fun! You'll be back next month, too!

Great selection of stores. Of course parking is still a problem not to mention traffic on Hillsboro Pike is always a bear. I visited the Apple Store and while it was packed I was taken care of quickly and efficiently. The associate who helped me checked my purchase out right in the aisle where she took me to get the item I was looking for. The Apple Store is a good model of what retail should look like in the future

I attended the #darknessandlighttour. It was definately worth every penny spent!!!!! It was a legendary evening of wine tasting , A Q/A session with John Legend , paired with appetizers and great conversation. John lead a toast and even took the time to take photos. Guest was pleasently surprised with a visit from Chrissy and Luna backstage, we even caught a glimpse of John's brother!!! Trisha Yearwood past through backstage and stopped to chat and take pictures.You never know who you'll run into backstage at The Ascend Amphitheater. The opening act, Gallant was a great mix with John Legend. The venue was nice, clean, pretty and relaxing. It was a unforgettable experience and my first time at The Ascend Amphitheater. John's set was amazing. The energy of the crowd was energizing. My only complaint is that the tour came to Nashville before my birthday in June. Either way Im satisfied, and I recommend to anyone to experience the Ascend Amphitheater Experience, and The Darkness and Light Tour Ft. John Legend..🙃👏👏💕💕🎶🎹🎤🎻🎺🎙

We had a great time! Really enjoyed seeing all the volunteers, they were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The Rhinos were playing in mud and kids loved that. Giraffes, spider monkey exhibits, interactive exhibits, and amphibian house was great. The day was fantastic! It was my longest visit so far. Wish there were a few family areas for when kids or we adults could sit by a fan to cool down without having to leave or to get wet and then have to miss somethings that require being dry. Also wish there were more coin machines in the park, for souvenirs pennies! Thank you for a great time! This is our 3rd visit in last 4 months, be back again soon.
